Chinese researchers who endeavor in mineral processing take rational exploitation, comprehensive utilization and mining circulation way of mineral resources as the ultimate goal all along in 2010.A great deal of research work has been carried out in such aspects as mineral processing technology, beneficiation reagent, dressing equipment, microorganism technology used in mineral processing and tailings disposal.Outstanding advances have been achieved especially in improving the efficiency of crushing-grinding process, optimizing the mineral processing technology, beneficiation process of refractory ores, preparation and application of new-typed reagents and comprehensive utilization of tailings.The existing problem is lacking of deeply research on adsorption mechanism of floatation reagent and new type dressing equipment.

The caving of overlying rock and orebody,and associated ground surface subsidence is a complex issue involving time and space.Based on the project of “Modelling Block Caving to Surface” proposed by CEMI,numerical investigations were conducted on the caving state and ground surface subsidence involving deep and large-scale caving.The evolution of pressure equilibrium arch and the fracturing process in rock mass were numerically obtained.It is shown that evolution of pressure equilibrium arch is the triger of caving with intermission and jump.The break angle,fracture initiation angle and associated ground surface subsidence are all depended on the caving state of overlying rock and orebody.

To investigate the influence of seepage and flow-rock mass coupling effect on slope stability, the equivalent continuum model was firstly introduced based on geological conditions, then the infinite element method was used to solve the model.Finally, the software SEEP/W was adopted to simulate the underground seepage under the conditions of normal water level, rainfall infiltration and drainage.The results show that the equivalent continuum model is reliability, and the two dimensional seepage is inhomogeneous with axial hydraulic gradient greater than radial gradient.Three modes indicate that hydraulic gradient is evident within the slope surface, intersections of different stratums and mixed rock mass Ⅰ.In addition, the rainfall infiltration results in tensile stress increase and fracture enlargement, shearing and slippage is the main inducement mechanism for slope instability, whereas drainage is efficient to improve the slope safety.

The cement mortar model tests on the directional pressure relief blasting were carried out to make ultra dynamic strain tests from three directions of protecting borehole wall,free-face wall and bottom wall.Three-dimensional numerical simulation and numerical calculation of tests were made by using ANSYS/LS-DYNA software.The pressure value and the tests results with the same distance from explosives to borehole wall,free-face wall and underside wall were compared,the distribution of pressure was analyzed and the blast hole pressure relief effect by protecting borehole wall materials and bottom interval air column is explicated.The present results indicate that there is an obvious stress concentration phenomenon at one side of the free-face wall,is the same distance apart from the explosive center.The pressure at protecting borehole wall is lowered by the average 26% than that of the free-face wall,where the vibration isolation material,PVCU,plays a good directional protection.Air column at blast-hole greatly affects the pressure,and has a strong pressure relief function.The simulation results were in good agreement with the experimental date.

The model of the main roof was treated as the thin plate model,according to the principle of the minimum potential energy of the elasticity,the displacement of the roof based on the thin plate model laid on the Winkler foundation was obtained.The immediate roof and coal which support the main roof were regarded as viscoelastic foundation,the model of the foundation was the Generalized Kelvin-Voigt model,on the basis of the analytic results which based on the plate on the elastic foundation,according to elastic-viscoelastic theory,then the analytic solutions of the displacement and the stress of the roof based on the plate on viscoelastic foundation were got by Laplace transform method,provided theoretical basis for analyzing the stability of the roof and forecasting the subsiden ce of the old mine goaf area.

In order to provide the development and utilization technical basis on a fine low-grade hematite iron from Inner Mongolia, a experimental was carried out by high intensity magnetic separation-reverse flotation process, high intensity magnetic separation-flotation process and the deep reduction-weak magnetic separation process. The results showe that: high intensity magnetic separation-flotation separation process cannot achieve ideal result, but through the test of deep reduction-low intensity magnetic separation, in the condition of coal consumption 30%, resistant reducing agent CCO 15%, roasting temperature at 1 200 ℃ for 90 min, a concentrate of the Fe content of 91.44%, with the Fe recovery of 91.22% is produced. The mechanisms of CCO were also investigated by XRD and SEM. The results show that CCO can promote the wustite reduce to metallic iron and inhibit the formation of fayalite and play a role of desulfurization.

In order to validate the superiority in crushing vanadium tiano-magnetite from Pangang by using high pressure rolling process, vanadium tiano-magnetite from Baima and Midi regions which were crushed with high pressure rolling process with crushed fineness of -5 mm and conventional crushing process with crushed fineness of -3 mm, grinding and separating experiments have carried out. The research results show that:high pressure rolling process compared with conventional crushing process, the former have obvious advantages in size composition and degree of mineral liberation, as well as in influence on subsequent iron mine grinding and separating.

Sliding force greater than sliding resistance is sufficient and necessary condition of the landslide,based on this warning principle,a landslide remote real-time monitoring and prediction system is developed,and it has important meaning in forecasting and warning geological dirsasters of landslide。Based on the landslide dynamic simulation and indoor physical model experiment,the landslide warning model is preliminarily determined。And the system are applied and researched in Pingzhuang open coal mine,west-east gas transmitting pipeline project(Yan'an section),NaFen open iron mine and ShuoZhou open-underground coal mine,which has proved sufficiently the landslide warning model.Results show that the field warning model of landslide sliding force monitoring curves is consistent with the inferred model of indoor physical model experiment.Thus,this kind of warning model can be used to continue to analyze and judge the stability in the other slip mass,and make accurate warning and forecasting ahead of landslide.

By analyzing the impact of the pre-split cutting of key stratum to big structure of laneway surrounding rock and the structure of stope roof,the pre-split can change the fixation boundary of stope roof surrounding rock into the hinged joints boundary.This shortens the transform process of the boundary of the roof board.The pre-split breaks the roof board continuity,and lowers the supporting stress of stope laneway side.Short cantilever beam transfers the part of load from upper strata into the depth to reduce the plastic yield scope of surrounding rock in stope laneway.Therefore the pre-split cutting of stope roof can weaken the boundary restriction of stope roof and control the fracture function of surrounding rock.

With the use of reliability-engineering and ergonomics theory, combined with mining-processing technology, the composition of the mine ventilation system and its characteristics, various factors which can impact the reliability of a mine ventilation system have been approached in detail.It indicates that the main factors which will impact the reliability of the mine ventilation network are the mine ventilation system, the harmful diagonal structure of the network and changes in ventilation network. The main factors which will impact the normal operation of the fan are the types of the fan, its inherent quality, installation, use and maintenance management, the placement environment of equipment, equipment operators, and the method of operation of the main fan. The effectiveness of mine ventilation control equipment changes the resistance in the network branch roadway, which will have a major impact on the system's reliability; the main underground mining process, such as haulage and hoisting, ore-pass draw, underground blasting and other activities, will cause a serious disturbance of air-flow to the mine ventilation system.

In order to make pyrite tailings fully used, an experiment was studied on the reconcertration of magnetic concentrate of pyrite tailings in which iron and sulfur were mainly hosted in magnetic and pyrrhotite.The results showed that there was a good separation effect of iron and sulfur by the process of flotation-low intensity magnetic separation-roasting.Flotation of original magnetic concentrate yielded pyrite concentrate with sulfur grade of 31.08%, and recovery level of 82.91%.Floatatien tailings after being low intensity magnetic separation and roasting could get the iron concentrate with 62.61%TFe,0.21%S,3.87% SiO
2
and with 31.03% iron recovery to original magnetic concentrate.The sulfur concentrations were roasted in the conditions of simulatively making sulfuric acid, and produced pyrite cinder contained 61.08%TFe, 0.23%S, 5.09% SiO

First,add red mud to the slag cementing materials as modifier which is consist of slag, gypsum and cement clinker, then study the compression strength influence of red mud dosage, and analyze the microstructure of the gelled material by SEM.The test result shows that with the increase of red mud dosage, compression strength first increased, then decreased, and got a optimum at the red mud dosage of 6%(the ratio of the other elements was slag 74%, gypsum 10%, cement clinker 10%, while PC 0.3% of the total amount of the raw materials), and in this situation, the gelled material can get compression strength of 61.93, 70.53, 81.02 MPa each on 3, 7 and 28 d.Hydration products of the gelled material mainly include C-S-H gel and ettringite; and with the increase of reaction time, the cover areas of C-S-H gel add continually, and ettringite interlace with each other closely, which show hydration processes tend to be completely.

The material and size composition of tailings of separating Fe from red mud of bayer process was detailedly studied, focusing on the occurrence of the valuable metals such as Al, Ti, REE, Sc, Ga, etc.The results show that 46.08% of Al2O3 exists in the form of diasporite and gibbsite minerals and more than 90% of the minerals are larger than 0.005 mm which can be recovered by floatation.The Ti, REE, Sc and Ga should be extracted by hydrometallurgy for their micro-fine dissemination size.This study provides detailed data and theoretical basis for the comprehensive utilization of the tailings of separating Fe from red mud of bayer process.
