Abstract: On the basis of previous studies,combinationed with the actual geological survey,analysised geological chacteristics，metallogenic background of Nanfen iron mine，genetic type and prospecting indicators has briefly been studied.By magnetic measurements and drilling verification, it is proved that iron deposit has big resource potential and carrying out breakthrough of iron mine exploration is very possible.
