Abstract: In order to provide a technical basis to explore the resources of iron sands from Indonesh for a domestic enterprise, beneficiation tests of grinding ore-low intensity magnetic separation test and flow sheet of pre-discarding tailings-classification-grinding ore-low intensity magnetic separation were carried out. Then, an iron concentrate with TiO₂ grade of 9.32%, Fe grade and recovery of 55.31% and 87.29% was obtained in the former test, and an iron concentrate with TiO₂ grade of 9.49%, Fe grade and recovery of 54.62% and 88.35% was obtained in the latter test. Contrasting the two beneficiation flow sheets, index of rail concentrates is similar,but the latter can reduce not only 37.73% of the grinding of the crude ore but also7.16% of the terminal magnetic separation of the crude ore, so it is taken as recommended beneficiation flow sheet.
