Abstract: Based on detailed geologic observation and core logging, develop some comparative study for Nuri and other porphyry ore deposits (Jiama deposit, Qulong deposit, Bangpu deposit and Sharang deposit) on the features of hornfels, fractures and veins in hornfels and the features of mineralization and so on. Combing previous research results of diagenetic and metallogenic epoch of this ore deposit, the blind porphyry ore-body is existing deep in the Nuri ore district. Put forward some suggestions on the next work of prospecting and exploration and arrange the deep drilling in the area of prospecting line 37 to prospecting line 41 is supposed to hit the blind porphyry ore-bodies by analyzing the distribution of hornfels, thickness variation of hornfels and the development degree and attitude variance of the fractures and veins in the ore district.
