Abstract: Digital mine roaming system based on 3D panoramic technology was analyzed, and the architecture of the system was put forward.According to the complexity and high workload of traditional virtual reality modeling, generation method of panoramic image based on real photos was studied, and the feature matching, image registration and fusion as well as multi-scene image automatic mosaic method were also given in panorama generation module.Finally, the virtual mine roaming function based on panoramic image is implemented using PTViewer, which displays the real scene of mine to users in an interactive way.The system can provide a visualization environment for the design, production and safety management of mine.
