    Chambishi Copper Mine, which belongs to Africa Mining PLC of China Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd., is a high grade deposit and broken roof.It is the typical gently inclined medium-thick bodies.The cut-and-fill stoping mining method was adopted.In order to get the reasonable structure parameters, the stress and deformation condition in surrounding rock was analyzed in different stopes arrangement method by ANSYS.The optimal stoping scheme that stopes layout perpendicular to the ore body was determined.Compared with the simulated results of nine kinds of typical stope structure mode, the optimal structure parameters of stope as 4.3 m room and 4.0 m pillar is determined finally.

    Aiming at the problem of determining the optimum caving space parameters under 18 m×20 m structural parameters of Meishan Iron Mine,the paper analyzed the mathematical analysis which can optimize the caving space,the morphology of draw body under this structure parameters are simulated by tope dilution drawing experiment,and the morphology features of draw body is adopted to calculate the optimum caving space with the object of difference of recovery and dilution by using the method of getting the minimized.The results show that caving space influences the recovery index evidently,and the caving space of 4.31~5.38 m has more advantage in recovery index.Practice indicates that optimum caving space identified by the mathematical analysis,has a certain directive function in production.

    Based on numerical simulation method, the ground movement laws and evolution pattern of displacement field caused by underground backfill mining in high tectonic stress area were studied.The numerical results indicate that the shape, range, central position and magnitude of ground movement are changing regularly caused by backfill mining in high tectonic stress area.The deformation of the ground surface in the hanging wall is obvious larger than that in the foot wall.The surrounding rock deformation form changes from roof convergence and floor heave at an early stage to wall convergence in the later.The magnitude of the displacement in the hanging wall is larger than that in the foot wall.This result is beneficial to the study of the ground surface movement and surrounding deformation caused by backfill mining the steep orebody in high tectonic stress area.

    In order to guarantee objectivity of evaluation results, comprehensive evaluation system of mining scheme should be established.The relationship matrix and fuzzy theory in optimizing mining method were used.It can use the relations matrix to determine each factor activity index.It is by means of the membership in fuzzy theory as the quantification method to reflect the single factor grading index of mining characteristics.Then it needs to ensure the factor's membership value of each mining scheme.Above all, the comprehensive index of each mining scheme was calculated.Taken a pyrite mine as an example, the superior degree coefficient of each mining scheme are 0.746, 0.686, 0.713 by calculating.Then the scheme 1 is selected and it conforms to the actual situation of mine.

    The slope is stable in natural condition.Since the drop-slag from the upper slope, there are large deformation appeared on the surface of the slope because of a new highway excavating, and it threaten the work of the existing highway.Based on analysis of the geological condition and monitoring results, the strength reduction finite element method was used to analysis of the talus slope.The results indicate that the slope is in critical stability status, and the new drop-slag is the main cause while the rainfall during raining season is the induced reason.Some advices are proposed finally.

    In order to accurately grasp the various major factors of impact hot melt drilling to drill, the law of the various factors and the change of the temperature about the surrounding strata and the extent of it should be explore.It's the first application of neural network in the field of the hot melt drilling, and the neural network and numerical simulation to predict and simulation analysis about experimental data were used.The BP neural network can predict the experimental data fit well on hot melt drilling and numerical simulation can simulate the formation temperature conditions.The FEM software can generate the temperature distribution field and curved lines, and it makes the temperature field more intuitive and convenient for analytical study.To save the cost of experiments and improve the experimental efficiency, the trained network models can be saved, only a few values into the trained network model of it to arrive at a set of corresponding data need measured in the next experiment.This model can be used as the prediction model for the corresponding conclusion.It provides a new idea for researching on the hot melt drilling.

    According to the characteristic of large danger goafs in Sandaozhuang open-pit mine, combined the domestic basic methods of mined-out area treatment that are blasting, filling, supporting, closing, mined-out area treatment technique of deep-hole blasting shaft-forming and filling poor mine was discussed, which relates blasting, filling, supporting.According to the existing equipments, design the plan of deep-hole blasting shaft-forming, parameters selection, charge structure and blasting network was studied.Advances the layout principle of equilateral triangle of filling shafts, the geometric model of evaluating filling effect was established, the function relationship among the distance of adjacent walls of filling shafts, height of mined area and filling shaft radius, which is the basement of evaluating filling effect and the multi-shaft design optimization in large mined-out area, was deduces.The mined-out area treatment with the deep-hole blasting shaft-forming is field tested.The experiment result testifies this plan is reasonable and economic.Research and application of the deep-hole blasting shaft-forming method and filling technique improve production safety, the contradiction of large-scale mining and mined-out area treatment is solved.It is useful for two level mineral management.Resources comprehensive utilization is achieved, and the purpose of reconciling ore is executed.

    The coal tunnel is excavated in isolated coal pillar area in a mine, and some technical problems are met, such as super-high abutment pressure, broken coal and rock, large section and so on.Aiming at these problems and according to the characteristics that the pre-stressed cable truss system can change the stress state of surrounding rock, the joint support technology is designed combined with the field conditions of the mine.Field implement shows that the joint support technology based on cable truss can solve the support problems of large section coal tunnel with super-high abutment stress.

    The dynamic excavation of the main shaft and the auxiliary shaft in Jinchuan NO.3 mining district was simulated, and some valuable results were obtained.According to the characteristic of engineering geology and surrounding rock mass, the three-dimensional numerical model of the main shaft and the auxiliary shaft was set up.Then, the six excavation construction projects were computed and analyzed by FLAC3D, and some reasonable advices were got.The results show that when many projects were operated at same time, other engineering will produce large displacement, especially for surrounding rock nearly by the 1 165 m Level.It should have support and strengthen in time.

    Based on analyzing the factors of dragline's production capacity, the actual working hours, explosives unit consumption and loading cycle were taken as the training parameters of BP neural network.The BP neural network prediction model was build,and network training and prediction were achieved using MATLAB.The results show that BP neural network could effectively predict the production capacity of dragline.The relative error between predictive output and actual output is normally less than 10%, and its precision of prediction meets the project requirements.

    The determination of cut-off grade must take into account the dynamic characteristics of grade in time and space and the randomness of grade distribution.Taken into account the spatial and temporal characteristics in mining of the ore body, a new cut-off optimization model using stochastic programming to maximum the net present value function of a mineral enterprise was formulated, the randomness and uncertainty of grade distribution in different section, and production capacity of a mineral enterprise in an open-pit mine.So the optimized cut-off grade is the best indication of the real operation situation of a mining enterprise.

    Because of the rich fault and joint in the open-pit west stope slope in Heishan iron mine, large area landslip occurred, and it threatens the safety production.The in-site recorded and described and engineering drill measures were adopted, the properties of fault and joint in the open-pit west stope slope was obtained.The stability of the slope was analyzed, and the countermeasures were proposed.Some countermeasures have conducted, such as, the flood intercepting trench, the reserved broad stairs in 770 m level and shotcrete and rock bolt support strengthen in the broad stairs.It eliminates the threat of safety production with 770 m level upper slope to the lower slope.It grantees safety production in the deep open-pit mine.

    The mineral compositions and grain gradation distribution were preliminary analyzed, the dispersant type and reagent dosage were researched specially, and the separation mechanism of iron minerals with gangue minerals was discussed by means of SEM and EDS.The results show that the dispersant plays an important role in the selective separation of useful minerals from gangue minerals because it could desorb the fine gangue particles adsorbing on the mineral surface and disperse agglomeration. When the Fe grade of magnetic separation concentrate is 42.88%, it could obtain iron concentrate with a grade of Fe 66.26%, a recovery of Fe 70.23% through one roughing-two cleanings-two scavengings closed-circuit flowsheet, during which all of the middlings returned to the previous flotation operations accordingly.

    Iron minerals are hematite and limonite mainly of High-aluminum oolitic hematite of Guizhou Hezhang,gibbsite of aluminum-bearing minerals enwrapped by hematite as fine granules and cryptocrystalline,the existential relation between iron and aluminium in the ore is complex.Studies show that adding YS-1,most of aluminum can be removed by direct reduction-dry magnetic separation process.Reduced iron product bearing 93.16%TFe,2.02%Al2O3 can be obtained by processing a raw ore with 42.56%TFe,12.30%Al2O3,and the iron recovery reaches 88.45%.

    Compression strength variation rule and improve method were studied by using preheated pellets with and without cooling as the burden.The result shows that in the case of equal added binder, the compressive strength of reduced pellets via thermal charging improves obviously; With addition of the binder the compression strength of reduced pellets increases.The reduction speed of thermal charging is slower than the cold-one.Added 1.5% F binder and reduced for 30min,the reduction degree of cold charging and hot charging respectively reached 95% and 90%.

    The performance indexes of weakly magnetic specularite intergrowths(0.104~0.053mm) with the intergrowth degrees of 98%,84%,57%,35%,16%,10% and 1% were determined in terms of specific gravity,specific magnetization,specific magnetic susceptibility and the adsorption of starch, and the separation analysis of the intergrowths are concluded.The results show that with the decrement of intergrowth degree, the specific gravity of the intergrowths reduces gradually, the magnetism changes from strong to weak, the inhibition of starch is less and less sensitive; the intergrowth with its degree less than 16% is readily removed by gravity separation,the intergrowth with higher degree is more easy to be recovered by magnetic separation, and the intergrowth with the degree below 10% is difficult to be recovered by magnetic separation, the intergrowth with higher degrees are more sensitive to the inhibition of starch, the recovery of reverse flotation rose with the decrement of intergrowth degree, the intergrowths with its degree above 10% are well depressed by the starch, and the inhibition effect of the starch in the anionic collector system is stronger than in the cationic system.

    Taking Xinjing a siderite as investigated object the effects of various factors to magnetie separation, such as roasting temperature, duration, mass ratio of coal to ore, grinding fineness of roasted ore and magnetic field intensity were investigated.It is shown that the magnetic concentrate,assaying 63.55%iron at 95.76%iron recovery, was produced under such conditions as roasting 16~10 mm siderite at 800 ℃ for 15 min within MUFFLE furnace in air atmosphere , and magnetic separation of the roasted ores with grinding fineness of 90% passing 0.074 mm and at 151.20 kA/m field intensity.

    Briefly introduced the ore properties of a lean hematite-limonite ore in North China.The influence of particle size of the grinding product and reagent dosage to flotation index were mainly studied.A reverse flotation closed circuit consisting of two-staged grinding, one middle-density magnetic and one high-density magnetic seperation to discard tailings, one roughing, one cleaning and three scavengings, separation middlings order to return could get the  iron grade of 66.07% and iron recovery of 80.53%.

    Deep reduction experiments for a Xuanlong oolitic hematite ore were discussed. The metallization rates and low intensity magnetic separation index under the influence of different reduction conditions, such as quantity of coal, particle size of row material, reduction time, reduction temperature, were studied. The microscopic analysis was conducted for reduction products achieved by different reduction temperature. The experiment results show: the metallization of reduction product was more than 97% by the optimum conditions. After one-stage grinding-low intensity magnetic separation 88.79% of iron concentrate grade was achieved, and the recovery of iron was 92.85%.

    Based on the investigation of roasting oxide copper-cobalt ore with ammonium chloride, leaching, precipitating and recycling ammonium chloride, a new method of recovery of Co and Cu from oxide copper-cobalt ore was proposed to achieve the goal of reducing costs and emission.The results indicate that 90% copper and cobalt are recovered under the optimal condition.Ammonium chloride crystals obtained by cooling and crystallizing of the filtrate are reused for the process.Therefore, the technique achieved highly utilization of oxide copper-cobalt ore under low temperature and less emission.

    Researched the effects on the properties of green balls, preheated balls and roasted balls when the raw materials, magnetite concentrates, were pretreated by high pressure roller grinding(HPRG), from which reached the conclusion that HPRG was beneficial for pelletization of magnetite concentrates, as well as the drop strength and compressive strength of its green balls.However, the improvement of the compressive strength of preheated balls and roasted balls after HPRG was negligible, due to the decreasing of porosities in the ball when the fine particles were drastically increasing and the mutual restriction between the oxidization of magnetite and the solid phase crystallization reaction when the balls were preheated and roasted.

    The depressing effect on diaspore is the key of removing silicon from bauxite of low Al2O3/SiO2 by reverse-flotation.The effect on diaspore and kaolinite were investigated on the different condition by using a industry waste bacteria as depressor .The results show,it is obvious that the depressing effect of the industry waste bacteria on diaspore,but the bacteria has little effect on kaolinite.The effect of industry waste bacteria is better than starch which is usually used as depressor of diaspore by comparing experiment.so index of separating aluminum and Silicon is improved by using industry waste bacteria as depressor.The function mechanism of the industry waste bacteria on separating aluminum and Silicon was studied.

    For studying the low-grade wolframite and scheelite ore of WO3 grade of 0.23%, according to the principle process of mixed floating wolframite and scheelite -Peter Lavrov law separation of scheelite -Shaking table fractionated recovery of wolframite,suitable grinding fineness and the appropriate amount of reagent were studied.The final available WO3 grade of scheelite concentrate, wolframite concentratel, wolframite concentrate 2 is 65.43%,50.11%,31.65% respectively, and recovery each is 51.21%,26.14%,13.76%,total recovery of tungsten is 91.11%.

    A gold ore in Kyrgyzstan which belongs to the refractory low grade gold ore,gold minerals are finely embedded , and the disseminated relationship of useful minerals, pyrite and quartz is complex .Through the optimization research on grinding fineness and the reagent system,under the conditions of -0.074 mm 90% grinding fineness, the dosage of D10 and A202 each at 100,50 g/t, get the gold concentrate containing got the gold 9.89 g/t with gold recovery 87.23%.Comparing with the simulation scene process and reagent system,concentrate grade increased 0.24 g/t, recovery rate improved 10.03 percentage points.

    The study proposed how to extract the vegetation coverage precisely on a large scale and in short time using the MODIS Normal Different Vegetation Index(NDVI) and the multi-spectral image Landsat TM without ground measurements:Get the vegetation coverage making use of the two method of empirical model and dimidiate pixel model.Then the results were compared among different models on basis of the TM coverage with higher precision.The conclusion is that in the study area where vegetation coverage is distributing equably,regression models are better than dimidiate pixel model in extracting the vegetation coverage in larger sample scale,especially to the nonlinear model,besides,the errors caused by noise and geometric registration can be reduced effectively.

    Using different middle tunnel comparison method,to comparative study the different elevation of middle in the deep of Lanniping mining area,Dongchuan,expatiate the morphological characteristics of the Lanniping iron-copper orebody and ore-controlling factors.Studies suggest that Lanniping copper area of iron-copper orebody is mainly affected by the formation,structure(folds and faults) and magmatic rocks control,iron-copper ore bodies take the shape of lenticular,vein,layered distribution,orebody attitude is more stable,the orebody of thickness and grade change greatly.

    Digital mine roaming system based on 3D panoramic technology was analyzed, and the architecture of the system was put forward.According to the complexity and high workload of traditional virtual reality modeling, generation method of panoramic image based on real photos was studied, and the feature matching, image registration and fusion as well as multi-scene image automatic mosaic method were also given in panorama generation module.Finally, the virtual mine roaming function based on panoramic image is implemented using PTViewer, which displays the real scene of mine to users in an interactive way.The system can provide a visualization environment for the design, production and safety management of mine.

    Based on the demand analysis of studying the use of mineral resources reserves in the current situation, the whole system design, system function design, and a spatial database is established on the basis of Access, SQL Server and ArcGIS technology.Finally, VB programming and MapObjects of GIS components are developed to establish a mineral resources reserves utilization survey information system to meet the needs of a mining management work.The system achieves integrated management of graphics data and attributes data of mineral resources reserves.And the main function of interoperability query in graphics and attribute, measurement analysis, buffer analysis, statistical analysis, dynamic maintenance and map output etc for the mineral resources reserves space data were achieved.The work level and efficiency of mineral resources reserves management was improved.

    The hole bottom flow field is the key flow field of reverse circulation sample, and it is formed with inner nozzle, end nozzle and center channel.To improve the reverse circulation pumping performance and enhance the effect of the reverse circulation, the diameter parameter of the intersection and spiral nozzle is researched.Using computational fluid dynamics(CFD) software, the pressure field and velocity field generated within the nozzle were simulated.In order to compare the import and export mass flow, the suction coefficient is introduced.The effect of nozzle diameter on the reverse circulation was discussed.The results show that intersection nozzle flow field is influenced greatly by the nozzle diameter parameter, and the spiral nozzle flow field is influenced little by the nozzle diameter parameter.Under the condition of the same diameter, the pressure change range of the intersection nozzle is higher than the spiral nozzle.With the diameter increasing, suction capacity of intersection and spiral nozzle increases, but the intersection nozzle suction capacity within the nozzle diameter change is with a large range.

    Shortest path and cargo flow assignment are the two key optimization problems which existed in mining pit transportation system.There are many fully-developed mathematical software packages available for solving these problems.It's suggested that engineering application should mainly focus on model development and let professional software package to compute the result.According to graph theory, mining pit transportation pathnet was analyzed, a shortest path model based on 0-1 integer programming was proposed, and a cargo flow assignment model based on linear programming.LINGO was recommended for solving the problem in the given example.

    Mosses of different habitats(virgin area, part of mining area, waste solid area, and waste rock area) were investigated in Wangjiawan Gold Deposit.Based on the identification of the mosses species, 28 species in 18 genera of 7 families were found.The number of mosses species in each habitat were 17 species, 11 species, 6 species and 4 species, which show that the number of part of mining area is bigger than virgin area, and smaller than waste solid area, the number of waste rock area is smaller than waste solid area.Contents of heavy metals(As, Hg, Pb, Cu, Zn and Cd ) in mosses and their substrates were determined.Among them, contents of As, Hg, Cu and Cd in part of mining area is larger than virgin area, and smaller than waste solid area, and the contents of heavy metals in waste solid area is smaller than waste rock area.Consequently, species diversity of mosses could be as one of the indexes in ecological monitoring for heavy metal pollution(As, Hg, Cu and Cd ) of mining area.

    A new type cementing material is introduced.It is composed by slag, lime, gypsum and cement, also some additives were added, and the optimal ratio based on the limited test basis.Orthogonal design and test data were used to analyze the influence factors the new type cementing material.Then regression equation between strength and the new type cementing material based on the DPS software was established.At last, the optimal formulation was determined.Results show that the new cementing material strength is 3 times of the 32.5# cement, and its cost is the same as cement materials.So the cost of the filling can decrease as much as 40%~50%.The new type cementing material has already tested and used in Shirengou iron mine.It indicates the feasibility and reliability of this new type cementing material.It plays a good foundation for improving the economic benefits of Shirengou mine.

    By taking advantage of the characteristics of strong capacity to absorb microwave of dust of EAF containing Zinc and Lead, Coke, anthracite and bituminous coal, Dust of EAF containing Zinc and Lead was carbothermically reduced by microwave heating.The results show that, using anthracite of granularity of -0.096 mm as reducing agent, under the conditions that the carbon/oxygen is 0.9, the reduction temperature is 1 100 ℃ and the holding time is 15 min, the metallization rate of the reduction product was up to 90.33%, the dezincification rate of 96.26%, and the lead-off rate was 88.89%.

    Effect of autoclaved schedule for compressive strength of hematite tailing-lime-yellow sand system was studied.The suitable autoclaved schedule was that rise time, autoclave pressure, autoclave time, and decompression time were 2.1 h, 1.2 MPa, 6 h and 3.5 h, respectively, when the quality ratio of hematite tailings∶lime∶yellow sands was equal to 70∶15∶15 and forming pressure was 20 MPa.The mechanism of Effect of autoclaved schedule for compressive strength was discussed by XRD and DSC.The results show that in the hydration reaction process, hydrogarnet is firstly generated, and then CSH(I) and high-strength tobermorite under the condition of 1.2 MPa autoclaved pressure.With autoclave continuing, tobermorite is gradated into relative low-strength xonotlite.

    The copper slag has high contents of iron and copper, thus has a high recycling value.Introduces and analyzes systematically the recycling methods of iron and copper in the slag and its limitation at home and abroad, and believes that coal-based direct reduction followed magnetic separation and flotation method should be suitable for the efficient recycling of iron and copper in the copper slag because the iron-bearing minerals in the slag will be transformed into metallic iron recovered easily by magnetic separation, and the copper-bearing minerals will be changed into metallic copper recycled by flotation.
