Abstract: According to the problems and mistakes in safety of specific design in metal and nonmetal mine，several principles were put forward in this paper，such as compliance，integrity，operability，partition and period，maximization of personal safety，corresponding or correlation，compatibility，principal，foresighted，etc. Following the principle in the design is favorable to avoid or reduce the problem and mistake，and it may be referred in the design by designers later.
