Abstract: The objective minerals of an iron-zinc ore are magnetite and sphalerite. But some sphalerite encapsulated the fine and strong magnetic pyrrhotite which can lead to sulfur exceed the standard in iron concentrate or effect the grade of zinc concentrate if with improper treatment. In order to provide the technical support for the development of the ore, mineral processing technological research has carried. The results show that first zinc flotation and then iron weak magnetic separation technology can solve the problem of sulphur content exceed the standard of iron concentrate. Regrinding zinc crude concentrate to 85% -400 mesh then cleaning can guarantee the zinc concentrate grade. The experiment finnally got the zinc concentrate with grade 48.74% and recovery 68.97%, the iron concentrate with grade 63.29% and recovery 90.58%, the sulfur content 0.29% in iron concentrate.
