Experimental Study of New Technological Process on Flotation of Intricate Copper-lead-zinc Sulfide Minerals in Gansu

Abstract: The original technological flowsheet cannot adapt to the copper-lead-zinc multi-metal sulfide ore in Gansu due to ore property changing.In order to solve this problem, new technological process on flotation experiments were carried out, which is copper and partly lead-zinc selective bulk flotation firstly, then separation of Cu and Pb-Zn, other Pb-Zn bulk flotation with sulfur, last separation of Pb-Zn and S.A Cu concentrate contenting Cu 20.99% with recovery of copper is 74.23%, and a Pb-Zn concentrate contenting Pb 16.65% with recovery is 91.11%, contenting Zn 27.32% with recovery is 93.32%, and a S concentrate contenting S 41.62% with recovery is 37.58%, the total recovery of associate gold and silver which in Cu concentrate and Pb-Zn concentrate are 83.84% and 88.27% of selection index can be obtained by the closed circuit test.
