Abstract: Waste rocks with copper grade of 0.25% in Baiyin mining area of Gansu were planned to stack together in early mining period and so far overall waste rocks were up to 2.53 billion tons. With the mature economic and technical conditions，investigation on recovering copper from Baiyin copper-waste rocks with the high degree of weathering and sliming is made. Under the grinding fineness of 80% -0.074 mm，copper concentrate with copper grade of 15.74% and the recovery of 81.03% was obtained through the closed circuit of one-roughing，one-scavenging，three-cleaning and middlings returned in order.
