Abstract: For a iron-containing tungsten ore of Guangdong with main content of scheelite and magnetite, mineral processing with the flow-sheet of preferential sulfur removal-iron concentration by low intensity magnetic separation-tungsten concentration by flotation at normal temperature is investigated. The results show that iron concentrate with Fe grade of 64.72% and the recovery of 58.72%,Tungsten concentrate with WO3 grade of 56.38% and recovery of 86.45%,Sulfur Concentrate with S grade of 25.54%,and recovery of 71.13% were obtained by the flow-sheet of one roughing-one scavenging for sulfur removal, one roughing-one cleaning for iron concentration by low intensity magnetic separation, one roughing-three scavenging-five cleaning for Tungsten concentration by flotation.
