Experimental Research on Extraction of Vanadium from Vanadium and Nickel Leaching Molybdenum Polymetallic Ore of Nickel and Vanadium

Abstract: With P204 as extractant and sulfuric acid solution as stripping agent, the extraction-stripping tests for vanadium recovery at room temperature from nickel-vanadium leaching solution of a Guizhou Mo-Ni-V polymetallic ore was carried out to determine the optimal technical parameters. Under the technical parameters in extraction of the mother liquid pH 2.5, the volume ratio of P204, TBP, sulfonated kerosene for 20∶5∶75 in organic phase, phase ratio (O/A) for 1∶2 and extraction time for 5 min, and the stripping conditions of sulfuric acid concentration 2 mol/L, phase ratio (O/A) for 2∶1,the stripping time for 4 min, the extraction rate of vanadium reached 98.7%, with total stripping of 99.8% and the total recovery of 98.5% after 5 stages of extraction-stripping process.
