Abstract: Since the one-man back rig is simple and portable,it has a low requirement of the terrain and makes the field X-ray fluorescence measurement be on-site,rapid and low cost. The profile survey of the mineralized area is made by field X-ray fluorescence analysis during the process of aeromagnetic anomaly inspection in west Tianshan, obtaining the mineralization information under the surface of 4 to 5 m.Unlike the traditional investigation pit,it is not only more efficient and economic without heavy workload, but also able to gain deeper mineralization information. An efficient and portable exploration method is provided for tracking and evaluating the ore-caused anomalies which are detected in the field work.
