Abstract: Based on the mineralogy characteristic of a refractory vanadium-titanium magnetite in Heilongjiang，the technical conditioning tests for beneficiation of the ore were carried out by the principle of low intensity magnetic separation-high intensity magnetic separation-flotation. The results show that by adopting the process of one stage grinding-one low intensity magnetic separation-regrinding of tailings-one high intensity magnetic separation-one roughing，two scavengings，four cleanings and middles back to the flowsheet in turn，Iron concentrate with Fe，TiO2，V2O5 grade of 55.04%,12.11%，0.62% and Fe，TiO2，V2O5 recovery of 83.01%，63.08%，85.54%，and Titanium concentrate with TiO2，Fe，V2O5 grade of 45.11%，34.90%，0.22% and TiO2，Fe，V2O5 recovery of 27.56%，6.17%，3.56% were obtained separately.
