Beneficiation Experiment on a Refractory Vanadium-titanium Magnetite in Heilongjiang Province

Abstract: Based on the mineralogy characteristic of a refractory vanadium-titanium magnetite in Heilongjiang,the technical conditioning tests for beneficiation of the ore were carried out by the principle of low intensity magnetic separation-high intensity magnetic separation-flotation. The results show that by adopting the process of one stage grinding-one low intensity magnetic separation-regrinding of tailings-one high intensity magnetic separation-one roughing,two scavengings,four cleanings and middles back to the flowsheet in turn,Iron concentrate with Fe,TiO2,V2O5 grade of 55.04%,12.11%,0.62% and Fe,TiO2,V2O5 recovery of 83.01%,63.08%,85.54%,and Titanium concentrate with TiO2,Fe,V2O5 grade of 45.11%,34.90%,0.22% and TiO2,Fe,V2O5 recovery of 27.56%,6.17%,3.56% were obtained separately.
