Abstract: By means of LabVIEW virtual instrument technique，the real-time extraction for the impact frequency of down-the-hole drill was realized，and the impact frequency of a certain type of down-the-hole drill was successfully extracted.On the basis of the impact frequency，the research provided a reference for intelligent control，impact strength analysis，on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis for the down-the-hole drill.The overall system has features of simply structure，stable performance and high signal fidelity，meanwhile good effect has been obtained in the practical application.
