Abstract: The geo-statistics method is used to analyze and investigate the spatial variation characteristics，enrichment status and influence factors of Cu，Pb，Zn elements in surface soil in Xinqiao Area of Tongling.The results showed that the spatial distribution of heavy metals in enrichment area is highly associated with the known deposits，indicating a close relationship between heavy metal enrichment and mining activities.Meanwhile，agricultural fertilization and irrigation can also lead to the Pb and Zn pollution in large areas，which need to be taken enough consideration.
