Abstract: Taking the landslide disaster risk assessment in Muchuan county as an example, six factors of formation lithology, elevation, topographic relief, exposure factor, profile curvature, plane curvature were selected as the landslide disaster hazard assessment factors, and four factors of population density, forest density, cultivated density, landslide disaster density were selected as the landslide disaster vulnerability assessment factors The contributing weight model was used to obtain the self-weight and inter-weight of assessment factors after dealing with the transformation of contribution rate and weight, and then multiplied with the two weights and index value to get the vulnerability and risk of regional geological disasters The geological disaster risk zoning can be obtained by multiplying the results of vulnerability and risk The conclusion is that it is feasible to build the disaster risk assessment model with the contributing weight model The extremely highest geological disaster risks zone is less, which is mainly distributed in the territory of Haiyun town The higher disaster zone is mainly distributed in the territory of Wusheng town The high disaster zone is mainly distributed in the territory of Huangdan town,Jianban town,Jianhe town and Yongfu town.
