Experiments of Reverse Flotation of Low Intensity Magnetic Concentrate with Anionic Collector CY-12#

Abstract: The anionic reverse flotation for iron increase and silicon reduction widely adopted by the domestic always needs heating In order to improve the adaptability of reverse flotation collectors to the temperature changes,a new low temperature resisting anionic collector CY-12# was developed by CRIMM,which was used to carry out the temperature adaptability tests of flotation for low intensity magnetic concentrate with iron content of 65.77%,SiO2 content of 861% The results showed that in order to get the similar separation index,the only thing is adjusting the reverse flotation reagent dosage appropriately By adopting the process of one-roughing,one-cleaning and three-scavenging and middles back to the flow-sheet in order,reverse flotation concentrate with Fe grade of 6986%,Fe recovery of 9862% and SiO2 content of 287% was obtained at the temperature of 15 ℃ Compared with that at 30 ℃,Fe grade decreased by 027 percentage point,but its recovery rate increased by 044 percentage point.
