Abstract: The 5.12 Wenchuan earthquake derived lots of geological disasters such as landslides,mud-rock flow and collapse. The landslide of Fenghuang mountain happened in Guangping town of Hanzhong is a typical destruction triggered by vibration. As the landslide is close to the seismic source, the seismic waves are the main factor for this landslide.Firstly, according to the field investigation, the slope's stability before and after the earthquake was numerically simulated with application of the limit equilibrium calculation software. The seismic response to the stability of the slope was determined.According to the results of stability analysis, the SPRM-01-type landslide remote monitoring system was adopted to real-time monitor the dangerous zone of Fenghuang mountain landslide as long as 25 months. Then, through the systematic analysis on the measured data, the rock soil internal stresses reached a new equilibrium after the earthquake-induced landslides in Fenghuangshan, and the potential decline in power sliding surface trended smooth over time and the landslide kept in a steady state.
