Surrounding Rock's Stability Classification of Roadway Based on Rock Mass Strength Theory

Abstract

Abstract: Based on rock mechanics parameters and the stress field feature of surrounding rock of roadway，and taking Mohr-Columb strength criterion + Griffith strength criteria as a joint criteria to judge the instability，the roadway surrounding rock stability judging indexes and the corresponding grading standards are given by theoretical analysis.On this basis，suggestive supporting form of surrounding rock at various levels is proposed，which is applied to the shaft yard support in Back-up Area of No.5 mine in Yangquan Coal Industry (Group) Co.，Ltd..The site tests proved it to be feasible.
