Abstract: Comparative analysis on the geochemical characteristics of REE of Pangdong electrum deposit in Guangdong province showed that the scale of REE in different rocks are not same with each other，and the scale of REE in electrum deposit in research region is close to that in mixed rocks and Yingqiao granite.So it is inferred that the formation of electrum deposit may have a closer relationship with mixed rocks and Yingqiao granite.The partition curve of REE，enrichment degree of the heavy rare earths and light rare earths and the Eu anomaly of the electrum ore in the research region are similar with that of the mixed rocks，indicating that the electrum deposit is close with mixed rocks in the research region.It is more likely that，the mixed rocks in research region are the main material sources of the electrum deposit.The formation of Yingqiao granite provided the heat source and some of silver and gold elements and made the elements secondly enriched，and then the electrum deposit is finally formed.It is necessary to pay more attention to the contact areas of Yinqiao granite and mixed rocks in the further exploration works in the research region.
