Optimization of Mining Filling Material Proportioning for a Vanadium Iron Ore Based on the Thorough Tests

Abstract: In order to ensure the safety in mining and ground pressure control,and improve ore recovery,lower the danger hidden in mined-out area,the filling mining method for a vanadium iron ore is adopted.The thorough experimental and theoretical study on physical parameters,particle grading and filling ratio of the mine filling material and the filling material itself are carried out.MATLAB was used to establish the corresponding regression model.According to the model,the parameters are optimized with the LINGO to find out the optimal filling ratio for this mine and to meet the requirement of the strength of backfilling body and ensure the safety and efficiency of the mine.Also,the costs are lowered to be minimum.All these bring maximum benefits to the mine.
