Abstract: In order to develop an efficient classification technology with achieving the goal of efficient separation of iron minerals at low cost,the research of combined classification technology between cyclone and fine screen and single fine screen classification technology was carried out.Comparison of test results between single fine screen classification and combined classification technology was conducted.The results showed that the combined classification process is better than single fine screen technological process in realization of mineral fine grading and differentation efficient separation.In the case of similar indicators in the end,the dissociation characteristic of iron minerals in magnetic separation is better，the amount of column magnetic seltor feed greatly decreased,the amount of regrinding ore decreased 3 percentage points or so，the effect of energy saving and loss reducing is very good.
