Abstract: There is 41.07% iron in a low intensity magnetism iron ore.Iron mainly exists in hematite-limonite ore, with distribution rate of 80.33%,few iron carbonate, ferrosilite, magnetite. To provide technique basis for development of the ore, beneficiation experiment was conducted. Results indicated that,at the grinding fineness of -0.074 mm 92.28%,via high gradient high intensity magnetic separation,at pulsating stroke is 4 mm,pulsating speed of 180 r/min,background magnetic induction intensity is 1.0 T,magnetic medium diameter is Φ2+1.5 mm,by one roughing-two scavenging, concentrate of scavenging mixed and via cleaning process, iron concentrate with iron grade of 60.08% and recovery of 75.94% was obtained. With different diameter rod combination as high gradient magnetic separation medium can improve the separation index.
