Abstract: It is difficult to separate lead and zinc from the on-site process of a lead-zinc sulfide mine in Sichuan Province. The zinc content in lead concentrate is high, and the lead and silver recovery rate is low.In order to improve on-site sorting indicators, beneficiation process test was conducted based on the study of the properties of the lead-zinc sulfide ore.Chemical multielement analysis results showed that there is 1.03% Pb,6.28% Zn and 37.16 g/t Ag,main minerals of the ore are sphalerite and galena. The gangue minerals are mainly dolomite, calcite, and quartz. Beneficiation experiment results indicated via flotation process of one-roughing,three-cleaning and one-scavenging lead flotation in neutral environment and one-roughing,one-cleaning and one- scavenging zinc flotation in high alkali environment. Finally obtained lead concentrate of 57.45% Pb,6.09% Zn and 501.58g/t Ag,Pb recovery of 71.17%,and Zinc concentrate of 53.11% Zn,0.95% Pb and 235.11g/t Ag,Zn recovery of 93.45%.Compared with on-site production indicators, the number of beneficiation processes was significantly reduced, while the lead concentrate grade was increased by 12.11 percentage points, the lead metal recovery rate was increased by 12.46 percentage points, and the recovery of silver metal in lead concentrates and zinc concentrates was improved by 61.97 percentage points.
