Abstract: Research on the effect of sintering temperature on physical properties，structural characteristics，chemical constituents of wall material,which was prepared using 90.8% of the iron tailings as raw material combined by 5% of clay and 4.2% of cement; comparative new wall material specimen at 900℃ and the material currently on the market about important performance such as density，thermal insulation properties,compressive strength etc.performance requirements of lightweight thermal insulation.The results are as follows：the wall material specimen at 900℃ have the performance of light heat-insulation wall material.
