Abstract: To work out appropriate measures for the ecological environment restoration in the development of Heshangqiao Iron Mine is a key step in the ecological mine construction of Nanshan Iron Mining area. GIS information forecast technology is used to forecast, simulate and analyze the possible impact of the development of Heshangqiao Iron Mine on the surrounding natural ecological environment, including the atmosphere, water, noise, etc. The measures for the ecological protection to be carried out simultaneously with the mine development are proposed through the forecast of the influence scope and degree.
