Abstract: There is 5.82 g/t gold，22.95 g/t silver，and 26.23% SiO₂ in a oxidize roasted Cyanide Tailings in Shandong Province.For the recycling of gold and silver in the tailings，chlorination volatilization roasting tests were conducted.The results show that the higher of the SiO₂ content in tailings and moisture content in charging pellet，gold and silver chloride volatile is the more unfavorable；chloride volatilization rates of gold and silver is 93.21% and 61.61% respectively with calcium chloride dosage of 8%，moisture content in charging pellet is 0.95%，chloridizing roasting temperature is 1 000 ℃，the roasting time is 40 min.Chlorinated volatile method can realize effective recovery of gold and silver from the cyanide tailings.
