Abstract: Particles of a copper-molybdenum rough concentrate from a polymetallic plant in Tibet is -0.048 mm 85%.Copper,molybdenum,gold and silver grade is 19.06%,0.640%,6.98 g/t,and 490.90 g/t,respectively.Over 99% of the copper and molybdenum are native or secondary sulfide minerals.Beneficiation experiments were conducted on the ore in order to separate molybdenum from copper on the mixed concentrate using highly efficient and easy to be degraded reagent. The results indicated that:molybdenum concentrate with molybdenum grade of 47.68% and recovery of 81.45%,and copper concentrate with copper grade of 19.26% and recovery of 99.94% was obtained by the process of one roughing-four cleaning-two scavenging and middlings back to the flow-sheet in turn with high efficient and easy to be degraded ZG-2 as copper depressor,HTL-3 as copper collector at the grinding fineness of 0.048 mm passing 90%.Gold and silver mainly were enriched in copper concentrate.High efficiency and low toxicity separation of the copper-molybdenum bulk concentrate can be achieved.
