Abstract: There is a super-huge copper-molybdenum mine in Tibet, which is located in an ecologically vulnerable area, contents of Cu and Mo are relatively low, associated silver and gold can be comprehensively recovered. To find a develop method which can have good production index and have little effect on the environment, beneficiation experiments were carried out by Beijing General Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy(BGRIMM) using efficient, low consumption, easily degradable collector BK401 and frother BK201 as main flotation reagents. Results indicated that at the grinding fineness of 70% passing 200 mesh, via two roughing-two cleaning-two scavenging Cu-Mo bulk flotation, and one roughing-two scavenging separation of molybdenum from copper process, regrinding the molybdenum rough concentrate to 80% passing 400 mesh and enduring 5 times cleaning, copper concentrate with 26.22% Cu,4.83 g/t Au,384.00 g/t Ag,and Cu,Au,Ag recovery of 91.09%,59.42%,73.62% respectively,Molybdenum concentrate with molybdenum grade and recovery of 46.85% and 65.18% respectively was obtained. The research achievements have good guidance and demonstration significance to similar mine.
