Abstract: There is 7.23% lead,5.02% zinc,143.28 g/t silver,45.70% iron, and 21.11% sulphur in a smelting slag from Chenzhou.Beneficiation experiments were conducted on the typical sample to develop and utilize the secondary resource. The results indicated that,at the grinding fineness of 72% passing 0.074 mm,with copper sulfate as the activator, quicklime as inhibitors and isobutyl xanthate as collector via one roughing-one scavenging-two cleaning closed circuit process for enrichment of zinc, and at the regrinding fineness of 84% passing 0.038 mm via shaking table for enrichment of lead and silver from zinc tailings, zinc concentrate with 40.02% Zn and recovery of 80.36% are obtained, and lead-silver mixed concentrate with 45.56% Pb and recovery of 62.83%,and with 1 000.12 g/t Ag and recovery of 69.59% are obtained.
