Beneficiation Experiment on a Low-grade Quartz Vein Type Gold Ore in Guizhou

Abstract: There is 3.04 g/t gold in a gold-bearing quartz vein-type gold ore from Guizhou,gold in sulfide minerals and monomer gold are main exist form of gold,round-granular,lamellar and granular are gold output forms,and fine disseminated.Beneficiation experiments were conducted to efficiently recover the gold.The results indicated that,at grinding fineness of 55.6% passing 0.074 mm,by Nielsen separator gravity separation,Nielsen gravity separation concentrate of gold grade 236.01 g/t and recovery rate 26.39% was obtained.Regrinding Nielsen centrifugal separator gravity tailings to 80.44% passing 0.074 mm,via one roughing-three cleaning-two scavenging and middlings back to the flow-sheet in turn process,gold flotation concentrate with gold grade and recovery of 41.37 g/t and 57.84% respectively,total concentrate with gold grade and recovery of 55.78 g/t and 84.23% respectively was obtained.
