Process Optimization for a Polymetallic Silver-lead-zinc Sulfide Ore in Jiangxi

Abstract: Production process and production index of polymetallic silver-lead-zinc sulfide ore in Jiangxi province was not stable and ideal result from of flotation reagent system.Optimization research of beneficiation process was carried out.Result showed that,lead concentrate with lead and silver grade of 44.21% and 1 736.42 g/t and recovery of 86.61% and 60.59%,zinc concentrate with zinc and silver grade of 39.06% and 374.16 g/t and recovery of 81.81% and 18.68%,total silver recovery of 79.27% were obtained in the condition of same raw ore grade,setting the grinding fineness of -0.074 mm from 90% to 85%,cutting one lead and zinc cleaning stage respectively,and adding one lead scavenging stage.After the optimization in on-site beneficiation process based on research results,lead recovery of lead concentrate increased 3.26 percentage points,zinc recovery of zinc concentrate increased 3.65 percentage points and total silver recovery increased 9.44 percentage points.Problems existed in original beneficiation process were well resolved by new beneficiation process.
