Abstract: Leaching vanadium from stone coal ore with HF as acid lixiviant were carried out,and the effects of fineness,HF acid concentration, leaching time, leaching temperature and liquid to solid ratio on vanadium leaching rate were investigated. The results indicated that the above factors have obvious effects on vanadium leaching rate, and the appropriate leaching condition is as -0.074 mm particles in the sample for 75%,HF acid concentration of 3.5 mol/L,leaching time for 8 h,leaching temperature at 60 ℃,liquid to solid ratio of 3∶1,and agitation speed of 600 r/min.And under these conditions, vanadium leaching rate can reach 97.91%.HF acid can effectively act with the vanadium-contained minerals and destroy its crystal structure, which is good for improving vanadium leaching rate.
