Research on the Separation Tests of a Low-grade Kyanite Mine from Jiangsu

Abstract

Abstract: The separation tests of desliming-magnetic separation-flotation with alkaline medium for a low-grade refractory kyanite ore of Jiangsu were adopted to explore the appropriate technical conditions for grinding，desliming，magnetic separation，and flotation.Based on this，the open-circuit process of grinding，desliming，high intensity magnetic separation and flotation with one-roughing and four-cleaning was made.Then，kyanite concentrate with Al₂O₃ grade of 55.13% were ultimately obtained.
