Abstract: Tianyu Cu-Ni Sulfide Deposit in East Tianshan, Xinjiang is located in the middle of Weiya-Mazhuangshan Cu-Au-Wu-Mo-Fe mineralization belt in the middle of Central Tianshan poly-metallic mineralization belt, south of Shaquanzi fault at the north edge of the Central Tianshan Massif. In the recent years, several poly-metallic deposits have been found in this belt, including Jiyuan, Huanglongshan, Caixiashan and Baishiquan CU-Ni deposits, Tianyu nickel deposit, East Caixiashan, Shaquanzi and Baoyuan Ag-Pb-Zn deposits. A preliminary study was made on the geological characteristics of Tianyu Cu-Ni sulfide deposit in this area.
