    In recent years, the soil pollution in China ore areas has gradually become more serious. We don't have any specialized legal systems to control ore area soilpollution and the existing mining-related environmental protection systems can not effectively prevent mining soil pollution. Therefore, understanding the soil pollution status and characteristics,the exploring and building the practical legal systems of soil pollution control have important theoretical and practical significance. From various terms of pollution channels, hazards and its characteristics, there are not substantive differences between the mining soil pollution and the general soil pollution. Learning from the successful experience of other countries and regions, the process of designing soil pollution prevention ststems is same for different regions.Therefore, the general legal systems of soil pollution prevention are also applicable to the mining soil pollution in principle. Moreover, it should also be under the mining properties and the general law of mining environmental protection to make some supplementary provisions in specialized legislation of mineral resources.

    Aiming at the technical difficulties as complex Erlihe lead-zinc ore-body, refractory mining, hard to select mining methods etc., five basic mining programs are primarily chosen.Due to the economic situation, the idea of multi-objective fuzzy optimization of mining methods is put forward: Firstly, the factors that affect the selection of mining method are analyzed, and a hierarchical structure model is built to determine the affiliated factors for choosing mining method by the hierarchical analysis method; Secondly, multi-objective fuzzy decision-making method is adopted to achieve the optimal decision-making.In combination with the characteristics of ore bodies in saddle and wings, an optimal mining programs and a feasible one are obtained.It is proved that the method is feasible and reasonable to determine the mine mining method, providing a new technical means for reasonable mining.

    The cut-off grade and grade of crude ore are decision-making variables which are directly related to the economic efficiency of enterprises and the utilization of renewable resources.Determining these two variables has a very important theoretical meaning and obvious practical significance.Taking Daye Iron Mine as an example, the dynamic optimized model of the GA and ANN was adopted to optimize the cut-off grade and grade of crude ore.The result showed that during the period of January to November in 2007, when the optimal cut-off grade was changed from 18% to 15.8%, and optimal grade of crude ore was from 41%~42% to 43.776%~44.139%, the net present value was improved by 9.01~9.44 million Yuan.

    Taking the eastern mining well of Daye Iron Mine as a case, the principle and process of natural wind pressure were analyzed from the heat exchange of surrounding rock and the air.GAMBIT software was adopted to establish the main ventilation shaft model to make a numerical simulation on roadway air flow and heat transfer in combination with fluid software FLUENT.The results from this model were compared with the actual surveying data, and its errors are within the limitation, showing its feasibility.By changing the boundary conditions of the model, multiple sets of natural wind pressure data can be obtained.Finally, MINITAB curve fitting method was used to fit the data so as to obtain the formulas of natural wind pressure for extreme weather in summer or winter.

    Strata movement and ground subsidence caused by mining destroyed the surrounding environment a lot, like ground fissures, building damages, collapse crater and so on, so it is of great importance to understand the laws of strata movement and ground subsidence for protecting environment and controlling building damages.The practical data from a monitoring station are studied and analyzed as the prototype.Then a GM(1,1) model is established with MATLAB software.The result showed that for the monitoring points in the strata, the ones which are above of the working face is fit for GM(1,1) well because their subsidence is increasing with the relative error of less than 10%; the ones which are outside of the working face can not fit the GM(1,1) simulation due to their great volatility.

    With more and more open-pit mines transferring into deep open-pit mining, research on the law of the movement and damage to high and steep slope rock is focused on.The deformation law of rock mass inside slope was determined according to monitoring its internal displacement, and the finite element model of Xiaobei open-pit in Jinduicheng mine was established by adopting three-dimensional finite element numerical simulation software, namely ANSYS.Then the stress distribution in slope rock was calculated and analyzed.The research provided a certain reference to study on the law of the movement and damage to high and steep slope rock.

    The ore body in main mining area of Yanqianshan iron mine has a structural character of easy-caving due to a dense joint distribution and a high angle and thick ore-body.In combination with the boundary conditions of open-pit and the development system of the underground mining transferred from open-pit, a high efficient induced caving method is proposed.The analysis showed that the method can increase productivity and reduce production costs by more than 20% during the period of the transferring from open-pit to underground, meanwhile the rate of ore loss and ore dilution can be controlled within 8% and 10% respectively.

    In view of the vehicle routing optimization problem in production of the underground mine, a NP difficulty is resolved by applying the ant colony algorithm(ACA).The traditional ant colony algorithm(ACA) has many shortages,such as long searching time, slow convergence rate and easily leading to local optimal solution etc.To overcome these shortcomings, the improved ant colony algorithm is proposed to improve its performance.During each iteration, the ant colony algorithm was used to control the convergence rate at first by adjusting its self-adaptive capacity, and then to optimize each performance index.The practice showed that the improved ACA can overcome the shortcomings in the traditional one, with the performance improved and a good prospecting application.

    The main characteristics of easy construction under sand, suitable for seepage treatment, low cost in maintenance, long service life, and high-speed construction, the radiation wells for tailings seepage drainage consist of the main well, the radiation filter tube, the aqueduct and the drainage flashboard.The way of determining the parameter in each structural composition of radiation wells are described in detail, and such factors as the length of the dam axis, the scope of infiltration and sabotage and damage level, water levels and the aqueduct path considered in the layout design are introduced.And a preliminary estimation formula on the water output of the whole radiation well is also put forward to determine aqueduct diameter.Finally, the design of radiation well of auxiliary dam in Tongshan mine is introduced briefly, thus providing a favorable reference to the design of radiating well for tailings seepage drainage.

    Experiments of magnetizing roasting and low intensity magnetic separation on the oolitic hematite(TFe 47.20%) in the west of Hubei were carried out by simulating the condition of coal-burning reduction roasting by heating with mixture of CO and N2 and electricity. The results showed that at suitable roasting temperature, roasting time, roasting atmosphere, gas flow and magnetic intensity and the final grinding at -325 mesh 80%, a good concentrate grading of 56.60% at a 77.79% recovery can be obtained by the process of the circulating fluidized bed(CFB)-stage grinding-two low intensity magnetic separations of one-roughing and one-cleaning.

    Through the high intensity magnetic separation- reserve flotation test, the effects of the QD series anionic collector on high phosphorus oolitic hematite ore in western Hubei are investigated. The results showed that under the grinding fineness of -0.074 mm 90%, the reserve flotation Fe concentrate grading at 52% with P content of less than 0.06%, Fe recovery of over 53% was obtained from the HIMS concentrate grading at 47.87% with P content of 0.78% with three kinds of QD-series collectors. Among them, the TFe recovery can be more than 70% with QD-02 and QD-03, and QD-01 collector can decrease P content to 0.46%. The tests are proved that QD-series anionic collectors are an effective reserve flotation agent for high phosphorus oolitic hematite.

    Under the different acidity of 10,20 and 30 g/L(other conditions are equal), the uranium bioleaching technology with low acid consumption, less clogging and high leaching rates are studied through the column leaching experiments. This provides a reference for industrial leaching application. The results show that under three conditions, the uranium leaching rate is similar to be 96.14%,94.88% and 98.25% respectively with acidity of 8.23%,9.24%,9.67%. When the acidity of acid is 10 g/L, the acid consumption is lowest.

    A lead-zinc mine produced two concentrate products of lead and zinc, where copper content in lead concentrate was over 1.30%. The potassium dichromate was used to realize lead inhibition and copper floating to recover copper from Cu-containing lead concentrate. In this closed-circuit test, copper concentrate containing Cu of 12.34% and Pb of 8.94% with Cu and Pb recovery of 37.07% and 1.18% respectively were achieved; A Lead concentrate containing Pb of 62.85% and Cu 0.42% with Pb and Cu recovery of 89.11% and 13.61% respectively were obtained. Then, “Na2SO3+CaO” was adopted to treat the waste water containing chromium ions to reduce the concentration of Cr 6+ to 0.19 mg/L, and to reduce the concentration of total chromium ions to 1.28 mg/L. So the waste water can be reused and the environmental pollution was resolved. Both kinds of waste water from copper and lead separation were mixed and used in the closed-circuit process, which has little influence on the experimental index.

    Tibet Yulong Copper Mine is one of typical large copper mines in cold and hypoxic regions in western China. Due to its resources and geographical conditions, the acid heap leaching technology is the best option for the development of this copper oxide mine. However, in acidic heap leaching process, the insulation of heap temperature is very prominent due to the cold winter.With out solving this problem  the deposite  development will be seriously affected. In view of the actual situation in the mine and the relevant experience of foreign countries the insulation of acidic heap leaching project for Yulong copper oxide deposite in winter are discussed, and some preliminary countermeasures are put forward. With our joint efforts the common engineering problems in this similar mines can be satisfactorily resolved at an early date.

    The main gold mineral is micro-grained natural gold which is close to gangue. There are some clay minerals affecting the flotation index. The flotation is adopted to concentrate the gold minerals by the flow-sheet of two-roughing, one-scavenging and two-cleaning. Gold concentrate with better grade and recovery of being 63.80 g/t and 92.08% respectively is achieved due to grade of 3.82 g/t of original gold ore.

    Systematical study on the chemical composition, mineral components, and embedded characteristics of iron ore is carried out.The research results showed that the main ore structure is oolitic with a typical band structure of concentric rings.Iron and manganese in minerals mainly are existed in states of compact and lumpy powder.Powder hematite, limonite and manganese minerals usually formed more loose earthy aggregate while dense massive hematite is distributed in the surrounding of quartz.And magnetite mainly contain a quartz sands.This above feature makes the valuable single mineral difficult to liberate and easy to be mud,so this ore is very hard to separate.

    The true quality index of industrial silicon products is a single silicon content, but both methods of the subtraction and the hydrofluoric acid evaporation methods commonly used can not rule out the direct effect of silicon dioxide, leading to high silicon index. To this end, a new joint of hydrofluoric acid evaporation and perchloric acid dehydration is established to analyze single silicon content in industrial silicon. The new method can detect and recover single silicon and silicon dioxide in industrial silicon up to 99.57% ~ 100.03%. Due to this high accuracy, it is applicable for the analysis of industrial silicon with silicon content of 90.00% ~ 100.00 %.

    The Jiama polymetallic copper deposit locates in Gangdese metallogenic belt.Due to its high grade, large scale and variety of types, it becomes one of rare ultra-large porphyry-skarn type deposits in Gangdese belt.According to research on the copper's average grade and the metal quantity under the different cut-off grade in strike and dip of ore-body, it is showed that the copper mineralization enrichment regularity in Jiama deposit is better than what is in the direction of their strike, and the regularity in the direction of their dip is consistent with the typical mineral zoning of magmatic mineralization.At the same time, the copper mineralization enrichment regularity has a significant indication and practicality to the prospecting and exploration of deep mine.

    There is presented a  PHGM-600 permanent magnetism high gradient magnetic separator.Which adopts Nd-Fe-B materials to form the magnet system, its background magnetic field intensity is up to 0.65~0.75 T. When the stainless steel rods are selected as magnetic media, its surface magnetic induction will reach 1.2 T. The experiment results indicated that good indexes were achieved in separation of Anshan-type hematite and Fe reduction of feldspar by PHGM-type high gradient magnetic separator.

    Based on the dynamic behavior analysis of magnetic particles in high gradient magnetic field, using FLUENT software as a calculation tool, the Euler-Lagrange method is adopted to make numerical simulation of magnetic media capture process of the multiple magnetic particles in high-gradient magnetic field. The simulation results show that when the magnetic media capture the magnetic particles, the single magnetic medium with diameter of 150 μm can capture the magnetic particle up to 10 μm in diameter with the action radius of 1 mm; When the horizontal spacing among medium fillings in magnetic field is 4 mm with multiple layers set in interlace, the efficiency of capturing magnetic particles can be increased with the medium filling increased. But when the medium filling is up to a certain degree, the capturing efficiency did not change significantly with the increased mediums.

    All magnetic media should remoued from whole device in former industrial tests on magnetic media of high-gradient magnetic separator, meanwhile two devices were operated in parallel for comparison.It is difficult to ensure the consistency of the other working conditions for the magnetic separator by this method, causing large amount of time, labor and material consumption.So, a new approach for the industrial tests on magnetic media of high gradient magnetic separator is proposed.In this process, numerous different magnetic media modules are installed in one magnetic separator.Through comparing with absorption capacity and residual volume of different magnetic media modules before and after minerals unloading, the advantage and disadvantage of different magnetic media can be determined.Then, the recovery rate of a magnetic separator by using the same kind of magnetic media can be predicted.The practical application in Meishan concentrator has proved its feasibility.

    Based on the analysis of blockage failure reason of the large filter's nylon filament filter cloth for iron mine, the cleanout and recycling technology of blockage filter cloth is investigated. Using the physical cleaning-chemical cleaning technologies the experimental result shows that there is no any impurity in surface and inner of recycled filter cloth whose breaking strength is up to 74% of new filter cloth, and its industrial efficiency is the same as that of new filter cloth so that the mill-run cost will be saved.

    The CAD model is built by mapping the structure of the track's body.The body structure is meshed with shell element, weld element and solid element.The finite element modeling of the loading cases are built by studying the employment characteristic of the truck.The finite element analysis on track structure for the representative loading case is made and the distribution of the stresses and the displacements of the body are obtained.Numerical results conform to the practical utilization of track, thus providing a guiding meaning for improving and maintaining the tracks.

    To study the theories of environmental carrying capacity is of significance in reality for directing economic behaviors for human beings and harmonizing the relationships between social development and environment.The definition of environmental carrying capacity was introduced from the aspects of “capacity”, “threshold” and “capability”, and the main features of the environmental bearing capacity are pointed out.On the basis of these, the application of the quantification methods of environmental carrying capacity at domestic was introduced.Taking Hebei as an example, the general situation of Hebei province was introduced, the integrated environmental bearing capacity was discussed specifically, and the four single factors of environmental bearing rate on water environment, land, atmosphere and urban sound were determined to be 6.97, 0.87, 0.561 and 0.921 respectively by evaluating of environmental bearing rate.And the weighted average was adopted to calculate the rate of integrated environmental carrying capacity as 3.24 so as to make policies and proposals for improving the integrated environmental bearing capacity in Hebei.

    The determination of index weight is the key to the evaluation of mine sustainable development. The weight coefficients of various level indexes in the evaluation of mine sustainable development of Lala copper mine district were determined by the analytical hierarchy process(AHP) and entropy weighting(EW) method. It is indicated that the system development level has the maximum weight coefficient of 0.622 2 in the sub-target layer; the economy benefit has the maximum weight coefficient of 0.325 2 while environment coordination, the minimum of 0.018 3 in the rule layer; and the production value per person has the maximum weight coefficient of 0.216 8 while both the mine area and the land reclamation rate have the same minimum values of 0.001 7 in the index layer. These results demonstrate that economy is the most important in the evaluation system, which accords with the rule that economy is the center of and of great reference significance to the sustainable development of mine.

    13 species of dominant plants naturally growing in the wastelands of Fushun Hongtoushan copper mine (original tailings, waste dump, tailings covered with domestic wastes) are investigated, and the heavy metals Cu, Zn, Pb, Cd content in aboveground and underground parts of these dominant plants are checked out. The accumulation ability and tolerance of four heavy metals on these dominant plants are researched. According to the research, the artemisia umbrosa, flos rosae davuricae and spiraeathunbergii selected from the original tailings, the sedge, larch and artemisia sieversiana selected from wate pile dumps and the nicandraphysalodes and chenopodium glaucum selected from domestic wastes dump are chosen as the pioneer species for Hongtoushan copper mine.

    Experiments on re-concentration of the pyrites tailings with the gravity process by shaking table and the flotation process were carried out.The results showed that sulfur concentrate grading at 46.41% was obtained by the gravity separation with shaking table,but 47.62% of recovery is low; Whereas,sulfur concentrate with S grade of 45.45% and recovery of 83.17% can be gotten by flotation with BS as collector and oil 2# as foaming agent.

    Shougang Miyun iron tailings are classified according to a certain grading, the -0.08 mm tailings with cement clincer and gypsum are mixed ,ground and produced cementitious materials. And then the cementitious materials were mixed with aggregate of +0.08 mm iron tailings, and became high-strength concrete materials by adding water-reducing agent. Under a certain condition, the effects of the aggregate size, the third-level mixing and grinding time, and the water reducer dosage on the pressure-resistant strength of products were checked by the orthogonal tests. The results showed that the third-level mixing and grinding time is the major factor of affecting the product's strength. Under suitable conditions, the producld concrete materials 28 d obtained the compressive strength as high as 97.63 MPa and the content of iron tailings in products reached 70%.

    Through the survey and research on the typical metal tailings pond of Daye, Hubei Province, and based on the systematic analysis of tailings resources, a mathematical model of fuzzy synthetic discrimination for appraising the availability of the metal tailings of Daye is developed. By using this model, the 10 multi-metal tailings dams with mainly Cu content in this area have been appraised. The results indicated that the model had a good adaptability in the appraisal and analysis of multi-metal tailings, and can accurately reflect the impact of each appraisal factor. The model provides a scientific basis for the rational development and utilization of tailings.

    In order to provide a technical basis for concentration of a higher concentration of tailings in Masteel company, the static and dynamic natural sedimentation and flocculation-settling tests on these tailings are carried out. The static tests showed that when the tailing concentration is 12%, it required over 25 min to realize more than 40% concentration for the natural settlement, while suspended solids concentration in settling layers can be up to the requirement. While using 3# flocculation of 5 g/t, the settling time can be reduced within 10 min. And the dynamic tests showed that with the same concentration and the underflow suspended solids content required, the flocculation and settling capacity of thickener per unit can be increased by 96.97% than that of the natural subsidence.
