    For the choice of backfilling waste rock in the pit III of Sijiaying iron mine during transferring from surface mining to underground,the PFC2D is used for simulating the ore drawing process,and the results of simulation are regressed and analyzed to obtain the equation between relative particle size and the rate of ore loss and dilution,which provides a theoretical basis to the choice of backfilling waste rock in engineering.This method can minimize the loss and dilution rate during ore-drawing to ensure the economic benefits for mimes.In addition,Matlab is used to establish a single-factor impact to the equation,and get the relationship between various factors and the rate of ore loss and dilution.

    With the strong action of mines blasting dynamic load,the rock layer may lead to liquefaction,and great loss like underground mud-rock flow may be created.In view of safety problems of slime running and landslides long-term existing in Chengchao iron ore,and based on the dynamic non-linear coupled solid and liquid constitutive equation,the numerical simulation of mine rocks and sand-soil liquefaction is proposed by applying the OpenSees produced by Berkeley University. What's more,the non-dimensional analysis is used to study the influencing factors of soil liquefaction.Lastly,the relationship curve about mining safety and rock blasting can be got through applying Sadov's formula and the equivalence of blasting vibration velocity and acceleration.

    The symbolic,abstract form of traditional analog imaging techniques can not meet requirements of information timelines and accuracy for modern coal mine.This paper presents the process and principle of 3D imaging for surface coal mine based on VRmap.Taking three-dimensional images about coal seam floor,bedrock roof,and land surface in the 6th floor of Heidaigou surface mine as an example,its feasibility and accuracy of imaging were confirmed,thus provide a way to get the mining information in depth for mining decision makers.

    The coupling mechanical action between filling body and rock mass during filling mining is a process of energy dissipation.The destructive ratio of energy in rock is analyzed,and the laws of energy release in rock mass are researched with the finite element method.The researching results show that energy release in rock mass increases with the bulk excavating,which their relationships exhibit in a way of secondary curve.And there are remarkable effects in decreasing the ratio of energy release when stope is filled.

    In combination with the mining technology conditions of Daye iron deposit,the stope structural parameters of the subsequent cementation and filling method for the level of -180 m at the eastern mining area were calculated and simulated.Firstly,the stope roof was simplified as the support beam by using the mechanical model,and the maximum span of the roof were calculated to determine the scope of stope structural parameter.Then,the strength of pillar was calculated.Secondly,the numerical simulation is made by FLAC software.The sequence of “one mined,one left” mining method is taken to recover the mining room and pillar step by step.The safety factor was achieved through analyzing the stress distribution and the variation of plastic zone and displacement.Comparing the integrated mining efficiency and the safety factors,recommendation on the stope structural parameters of filling method for Daye Iron Mine was proposed.

    The natural grade classification of loose-covered rock has a great effect on caving mining efficiency.To fill the research gaps in this field,laboratory model tests were carried out.Test results confirmed that the classification phenomenon of natural grade was one of properties to determine where loose-covered rocks exist.Different distribution of particle size leads to different impact of loss and dilution.The study provides a new method for reducing the loss and dilution of ore.

    The action of drift pressure with the pillarless sublevel caving method is very sever due to the complicated and changeable engineering environment and the influence of mining,especially in soft and fracture ore body.This paper analyzes the deformation mechanism of drift and rock in detail in non-pillar stope with pillarless sublevel caving methed,according to the underground pressure feature in several civil soft and fracture ore bodies.Then the relevant conclusions of geogical nature,distribution feature and the proposals to control underground presure are made.

      The point-load-cyclic-loading-simulation tests on five specimens of different H/W ratios are made by using RFPA2D,that is,the rock failure process simulation software.Tests results showed that rock samples in point load tests have size effects,and that stress memory effect is more obvious on the samples of 100  mm× 50 mm (H × W).This is in accord with the results of laboratory tests,and of great significance for the research of rock point load.

    The values of rock sample are random and fuzzy.Both of the random-fuzzy approach and the traditional method were applied to analyze the mechanical parameters of slope engineering.After comparison,it is concluded that the random-fuzzy approach is superior to the traditional method.Also,the confidence degree and probability distribution form of mechanical parameters were discussed.Then,the confident threshold concept was proposed so as to provide a foundation for its application in engineering practice.

    The large-diameter long hole mining methods are used at Tonglushan Copper-Iron Mine.Frequent rock-falls within stopes for many years have interrupted production and brought great ore loss and pollution.The investigation showed that the bad rock and unreasonable drilling and blasting were the main inducing factor of stope collapse.For this,VCR blasting was changed into the lateral retrogressive millisecond control blasting with charging weakened,and the decouple charging method was adopted for the holes with instable rock mass and stope sides.The in-hole propagation of detonation showed that the propagation distance of the decouple charging blasting could be over 6 m.Without denotation,the next charging can be blasted directly.By this way,two small sections of charging can be merged into one section.This method simplifies the charge structure,and it is convenient for implementing the charging process.To reduce the blasting dust and the waste rocks transport,the water-seal blasting was adopted in tests.Good expected results were obtained through the trial at 7313 stope in the past one year,and all of the collapse problems above in the mine were solved in the later by applying the new methods.

    Lifting pipe of deep seabed mining not only undertake the function of minerals conveying,but also endure the weights of systerm.It endures wave force,ocean current force,seawater,pressure,wave dynamic lodot.The deformation and stress are very comolex and possiblly bring hidden trouble to the system.This article use the mechanics and limited finite element idea to disperse the whole pipe.The distortion curve is drawn in various circumstance by the iteration programming.By analyzing the nonlinear distortion on lifting pipe,the conclusion that the remining ship's rclocity opposite the ocean flow is the crucial factor affecting the lifting pipe of deep seaded mining pipe distortion is drawn,which has a higher reference value to the design of lifting pipe and intensity checking.

    Based on the optimization principal of goal programming,an optimizing model for the exploitation of single mineral deposit was built.After solving by HJ arithmetic,the conclusion is made that since the geologic resource of Baixiangshan Mine is very rich,and its production can reach the up-limited scale,but funding still become the key factors to the production extending.The research results showed that the development mode of new mineral resources can realize the good sustainable development capability of Gushan mine or better with good effects.

    Molybdenum ores are the important strategic resource.The resoures are very large with low grade and low-level utilization in china.Based on the low grade molybdenum ore property  in  Henan province,a experimental study has been conducted.The flotation flow-sheet of  primary grinding and roughing,cleaning of the rougher concentrate by use of two-stage regrinding technology was adopted.The better index can be obtained with molybdenum concentrate grade of 47.23% and  recovery rate of  81.51%.

    Roasting -magnetic separation was used to treat a high-phosphorus oolitic hematite in western Hubei(iron grade at 43.50%),dephosphorization methods,including acid leaching and bioleaching,were used for the iron concentrate.The results showed that,under the condition of roasting at 850 ℃ for 25 min,reductant to ore ratio of 5%,grinding time of 4min,magnetic field strength 120 kA/m,the iron concentrate grade was 54.92%,iron recovery rate was 86.78%,with P 0.83%; in the acid leaching test,pulp density was 2%,with 0.1 mol /L of H2SO4,HNO3,HCl,C2H2O4,C6H8O7 for phosphorus removal,in which H2SO4 was the most effective,and the iron grade,recovery rate,phosphorus removal rate were 57.98%,96.47%,95.30%,respectively; in the bioleaching test,pulp density was 2%,with the filtrate of the Acidophilic Thiobacillus ferrooxidans (At.f)  and the  Aspergillus niger  on iron concentrate ore,the phosphorus content were  0.23%, 0.20%, respectively.

    Magnetic conversion process was investigated by biomass reduction roasting and the phosphorus in ore was removed successfully of a Hubei western high phosphorous hematite ore,The iron grade was improved greatly by further dynamic magnetic method.The effects of technological conditions such as roasting temperature,roasting time,the ratio of hematite and biomass on magnetic conversion rate of hematite ore and dephosphorization rate were investigated.The magnetic separation conditions such as stirring speed and magnetic separation time were investigated too.Iron grade could reach more than 64.05%,dephosphorization rate reach more than65.64% under the optimal condition which was determined as the amount of biomass at 20%,roasting temperature at 650 ℃ for 40 min,stirring speed at 600 r/min for 40 min.

    Yunnan a siderite ore is a refractory one due to its low grade and its complex mineral dissemination particle sizes and its high content of phosphorus.Based on its process mineralogy research,a process consisting of reverse flotation-magnetization roasting-low gradient magnetic separation was adopted for treating this ore.As a result,an iron,its P-content is reduced to 0.06%,S-content is 0.35%,Si-content is 9.45%,concentrate grading 68.22%,at a recovery of 65.72% was obtained,thus providing a new way for the separation of similar high phosphorus siderite ore.

     The conventional thiourea leaching rate of gold from flotation concentrate of the refractory ore containning copper from Jiangxi province was only 48.71%.With oxygen-rich biooxidation leaching technigue,the gold leaching rate is enhanced to 91.67%.In view of the high controlling conditions,the oxygen-rich and low temperature leaching technique is not suitable for real popularizing .Hypoxia biooxidation leaching research was carried out and magnetic field was introduced to intensify biooxidation.The gold leaching rate reached 91.72%,a better rate .The mechanism of the biooxidation intensified by magnetic field is analyzed.

    Introduced a new technology of floatation—Subsection potential-controlled floatation,which improved recovery of lead-zinc-silver sulfide mine,especially to the recovery of silver.Application of this technology was proved very effective to lead-zinc-silver sulfide mine in Yunnan.Compared with conventional floatation techniques,the recovery of lead improved 6.38%,and the recovery of zinc improved 4.33% and the recovery of silver improved 13.43%.

    Microwave-assisted magnetizing roast plus magnetic separation was carried out upon Baiyunebo medium-low grade oxidized ores containing hematite.The effects of sintering temperature,carbon content,sintering time on the reduction and the effects of sintering temperatures on the magnetic separation effect were investigated.The results showed that in the case of roasting temperature of 650 ℃,carbon content of 0.5% and roasting time of 10 min,the best magnetisability 2.36 could be obtained,near to the theoretical value 2.33.But owing to powder sintering at high temperatuer,the best magnetic separation efficiency occurs for the sintered ore at 570 ℃,insteads of 650 ℃.For this concentrate,a further ball-milling plus magnetic separation produces two kind of final concentrate,according to the different stiring current one is in grade 65% and recovery 58.6%,the other is in grade 63% and recovery 72.8%.In this two concentrates,the content of impurity elements such as S,P,SiO2,K2O etc.were so low as to meet the require of iron-smelting,while the rare earth was found enriched up to twice and more in the resulting tailings.

     The alkali-acid method is a main way of purifying graphite,which is widely applied,but the refining effect is not very good.The fixed carbon content of the graphite product which was achieved by the alkali-acid method was generally less than 99.9%.In this study,the restrictive factors of refining effect were obtained through the analysis and detection of graphite samples and filtrates in the different stages of technological process.After immersion and washing treatment,Si impurity wasn't complete removed,but it was easy to form silica gel which was very difficult to be eliminated.So it would limit the graphite purity to be enhanced.The test material with high ash content also affected refining effect.

    The normal sintering and pellet sintering of chromite fines was studied and the consolidation mechanism was revealed.Results of normal sintering showed that under the optimum conditions,yield of 73.16%,productivity of 1.17 t/(m2·h),tumble index of 61.03% and solid fuel consumption of 115.80  kg/t were achieved.In contrast the pellet sintering of chromite fines under optimum conditions indicated better sintering performance proven by the following dexes yield of 77.18%,productivity of 1.47 t/(m2·h),tumble of 83.78% and solid fuel of 107.32  kg/t respectively.Consolidation mechanism showed that in normal sintering process,the liquid phase was only accounted for 19% and higher porosity,resulting in weak sintering and lower productivity.With regard to micro  pellet sintering,sinter from top and middle-lower bed is ding morphology,respectively.Recrystallization of ferro-chromium and ferro-magnesium spinel and some 19% liquid phase along with lower porosity play a significant role in consolidation of sinter made of chromite fines by micropellet sintering,leading to a strong sinter and higher productivity at lower solid fuel.Therefore,pellet sintering is an effective way to promote sintering of chromite fines at lower solid fuel consumption .

    Process parameters of direct reduction of pellets containing organic binder and pore-forming agent,in which the refined iron ore was from Chengchao Iron Mine as well as the reducing agent was coal,has been investigated.The result shows that the appropriate weight ratio of refined iron ore,pore-forming agent and organic binder was 20∶1∶5.When reducing at 1 250 ℃ for 5 h as the weight ratio of coal and pellet was 1∶3,the total Fe of DRI was more than 93%.Because of the effect of pore-forming agent,the reducing time was reduced to 5h as to more than 15h other reference mentioned.Then the power cost could be decreased greatly.

    The proposal of “Digital Mine” has brought new opportunities and challenges for the informationization construction in coal mines.This paper used the idea of geographic ontology to represent the coal mine,and put forward a new geospatial organization method based on geographic ontology,the analysis of layering-oriented and feature-oriented way of spatial data organization,as well as the metadata technology.The coal mine ontology is modeled which includes a conceptual model reflecting the hierarchy of the coal mine,then a spatial database of the coal mine based on geographic ontology is reconstructed according to the mapping relationship between coal mine concepts and exiting multi-source geospatial datasets.By this way,the integration and management of the spatial data of the coal mine can be realized,and the multi-source spatial data of coal mine was well organized.And it is good for the semantic sharing and inter-operation of the spatial information.

    The main task of making the through design is to select a reasonable measure proposal and method to ensure the roadway right through.According to the practice of Shangping mining area,an appropriate measure approach is selected to make error calculation and assessment in advance.Based on this,the measuring practice and its accuracy analysis for deep extension of new auxiliary slope-shaft in Shangping mine are mainly introduced.Taking correct and stable coordinates and elevation of the starting point N2 and the azimuth of the starting side N1-N2 as original data,the traverse measurement of coordinate,azimuth and elevation is carried out.The project was put into practice in September,2005 and completed smoothly in 2006.The through engineering not only guaranteed the diagraph accuracy of measurement,but also ensured that the actual deviation of the through engineering was lower than the limited error and near to the anticipating error by the practical measure.

    Longwanggou ore area of Qingshan gold mine is in the north of Eastern Qinling Zhen'an-Xunyang basis in the Qinling Plate,and is in west-line of Jinlongshan-qiuling metallogenic belt.Research on this deposit is still blank.Based on the geological survey on this deposit,its ore-controlling factors and the geological-geochemical characteristics are studied,and its causes are analyzed as well.In combination with nearly one-year researches,the mineralization and ore-controlling factors and ore prospecting direction in future for Longwanggou mine area of Qinshan Gold Mine are pointed out.This result provides a reference for further study on the deposit,and also accumulates new information for the regional metallogenic theory of Zhen-xun basis.

    The tangent of the main influencing angle is an important parameter for mining subsidence prediction and surface displacement range demarcation.On the basis of the relationship analysis between the tangent of the main influencing angle and the geologic and mining conditions,the data from the typical ground movement observation stations of China was used as training samples.With a reasonable selection of kernel function of SVM,penalty parameter C and insensitive loss parameter ε,a SVM regression relationship model of the tangent of the main influencing angle and the other factors was established to predict on the samples.The results showed that the SVM prediction method is accuracy and can be applied to the actual engineering.Multiple influence factors could be considered comprehensively in this method,and a new approach to quickly and accurately calculate the tangent of the main influencing angle is proposed for the future.

    The high density electric resistivity method and the seismic imaging method were adopted to detect the mined-out areas of open pit iron mine,and then the results of detection are analyzed and contrasted,which will make up the disadvantages of this method,like blind detecting spot of the high density electrical method,easily being influenced,and difficult to position by the seismic imaging method.This method accurately predicted the distribution feature of the mined-out areas under the ground about 40 meters,and solves the detecting problem of the underground mined-out areas in open pit iron mine.By this way,three mined-out areas were found in this region,and the distribution range is given.All of these provide a reliable basis for management of the mined-out areas.

    In view of many uncertain elements in classification and prediction of rockburst intensity,the evaluation model for classification and prediction of rockburst intensity is established by Bayes discriminant analysis.According to the characteristic and cause of rockburst,three factors of the stress coefficient of rock,the brittleness coefficient of rock   and the elastic energy index of rock   are selected as the discriminant factors.And the intensity of rockburst is divided into 4 grades,denoted as none,inferior,medium and intense,which are taken as the four normal populations in Bayes discriminant analysis.The classification discrimination is carried out based on the initial data for rockburst intensity analysis of 14 rock projects around the world.Bayes linear discriminant function is obtained through the training samples,which is then used to calculate the Bayes function value of the evaluating samples.Meanwhile,the population corresponding to the maximum function value is used to judge which population the evaluating sample belongs to.In order to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the model,the cases of Qinling Tunnel and Fankou Lead-Zinc Mine are analyzed using the proposed method,and the obtained results are also compared with the results of neural network model,fuzzy probability model and practical conditions.The results show that the results predicted by Bayes model are both in good agreement with the practical conditions and the results obtained from the neural network model and fuzzy probability model.

    The digging of underground laneway will destroy the balanced state of the initial rock stress,making the stress field around laneway redistribute and concentrate.When the concentrated stress is higher than the rock mass strength around laneway,it will cause ground pressure behaviors,for example surrounding rock deformation,loosening,floor heave and so on in laneway.Evidently,the severe degree of ground pressure behaviors is not only relevant to the rock pressure,but also interrelated with the physical and mechanical properties of the rock around laneway.Aiming at the stability of basalt nude inclined shaft surrounding rock of a under-construction mine in Southwest China,based on the knowledge of elasticity and rock mechanics,the comprehensive analysis method of the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation is adopted to analyze the highest concentrated stress of surrounding rock and the relationship between the highest concentrated stress and the approved strength.It is concluded that the highest concentrated stress of surrounding rock is lower than the approved compressive strength of basalt rock mass in the worst condition,the inclined shaft can take the shape of nude laneway,and it provides a scientific theory basis for the field support design and construction.

    Monte Carlo method was introduced in anti-sliding stability analysis and assessment for Dumulong tailing dam.Considering the influences of the variability of tailing mineral parameter such as the cohesive force,internal friction angle,bulk specific gravity and uncertainty of pore-water pressure,the stability safety factor and its reliability index of the tailing dam are calculated.Both security indices show that the stability of the dam is in critical condition.Then the pore-water pressure is determined as the most leading factor for affecting the instability of the dam by the sensitivity analysis of these random variables.And then the reinforcement measures on improving drainage facilities in the dam are suggested accordingly.The research method adopted in the paper has a reference for analysis and evaluation of similar tailing dams' stabilities.

    The process and action mechanism of the rare-earth ammonia-nitrogen wastewater adsorption treatment by water-quenched slag were studied.Results showed that under the conditions of diameter of 100 mL,dosage of 0.015 g/mL,reaction time of 60 min to treat the wastewater of 127 mg/L ammonia nitrogen without adjusting the pH value,the removal rate of the ammonia nitrogen reached 60%.According to the adsorption equilibrium experiment the adsorption data fit the Freundlich equation.

    Long-term piling for large quantities of solid waste produced in mining would lead to serious environmental problems,and it is urgent for application to rapidly survey  the distribution of solid waste.Taking southeast of Hubei as the study case,based on the spectral characteristics of solid wastes and the iron and copper polymetallic mining district,and according to the spectral characteristics of TM data and the iron staining information extraction program in geological prospecting,the information extraction methods of the iron and copper multi-metal mining district and solid waste was designed with principal component analysis method.Then,the information of the iron and copper polymetallic mining district and solid waste were successfully extracted.In combination with the extraction results and the known gold deposits points and the solid waste recognized based on high resolution remote sensing data,it is shown that this program is feasible for the information extraction of iron and copper polymetallic mining district and solid waste.This study provides a corresponding reference for extraction of iron ore solid waste based on medium resolution remote sensing data.

     Extracted and separated valuable metals,like Fe,Ca and Mg,from molybdenum tailing in Luanchuan by Hydrometallurgy method.The results showed that the leaching ratios of Fe,Ca and Mg could reach 86.15%,83.29% and 80.24%,respectively,when the tailings were leached in 20% hydrochloride acid for 6 h under the water temperature at 95  ℃.Also,the purity of the related compounds containing Fe,Ca and Mg were up to 98.27%,97.97% and 83.07%,respectively.After the aid leaching mentioned above,other valuable elements,such as Mo,Cu and W,were naturally enriched.It would save the cost in the later extracting process.

    In the reaction of indium-bearing zinc oxide flue dust (ZOFD) with industrial sulfuric acid by oxidative pressure leaching in an autoclave,the effects of different technological conditions,such as initial concentration of sulfuric acid,reaction time,temperature and the dosage of oxidant,on leaching efficiency of indium and zinc were studied.The experimental results showed that the extraction of indium from ZOFD can be enhanced effectively by both pressuring and using potassium permanganate as oxidant.The optimum conditions of pressure leaching were determined as 400 g/L sulfuric acid for 120 min at 120 °C with the dosage of KMnO4 was 4% (wt.% ) of ZOFD.The leaching rate of indium can reach 90.6% under these optimum conditions.Simultaneously,the process of oxidative pressure leaching could also strengthen the zinc extraction from ZOFD,but the effect was not obvious.

    The tailing belongs to Handan-tailing which is a high calcium and magnesium tailings.The main mineral componentis are quartz,dolomite,chlorite,mica,calcite,etc.; The average partical size of the mineral is 0.08 mm,-0.037 mm for the purpose of 45.82%,viscous particle content of 28%.The plasticity of the tailings is better,and drying sensitivity of the tailings is lower.All tailings in condition of the 17% increase water,by mixing,extrusion and forming could make 22 mm×58 mm×50 mm cylindrical samples,sintering at the temperature of 1 080~1 170 ℃ after natural dry.After experimental evidence,it's feasible to produce fired perforated brick using all the iron ore mining that company tailings,and its performance fully meet the requirements of GB13544-2000 standard and the middle strength for the MU15.
