    With the domestic advances in research and practice of mineral processing in 2009, systemic research work was carried out in aspects of mineral processing technology, beneficiation reagent, dressing equipments, microorganism technology used in mineral processing, tailings disposal, and outstanding advances have been achieved in dressing of refractory ores, preparation and application of new-typed reagent, and research of magnetic equipment. The study method becomes more various. In addition, the research on microorganism technology and tailings utilization attaches great importance, however the study on the basic theory and engineering is somewhat unsubstantial, which needs to be strengthened further.

    Open pit limit optimization is an important link in open pit design, production and operational management.However, the final limit optimization is a complicated work involving an integrated consideration of mine resource conditions, mining technical condition, mineral sales price, ore mining and processing cost for maximizing the economic benefit.At present, the perfect combination of the three dimensional visualization ore deposit simulation technique and open pit limit optimization methods makes its working procedure to be simple, and a good dynamic effect may be obtained.Taking Pingguo bauxite in Guangxi Province as a case, 3-D solid model of this open pit mine was established by adopting the DIMINE software system.It can reflect a more precise and intuitionistic spacial shape of deposit and working face and its distributing relationship.Aiming at the established ore body model, the works of the grade estimation, reserve calculation and so on were carried out.The study on the open pit limit optimization of the bauxite mine is made based on Lerchs-Grossmann optimization method to determine reasonable open pit limit optimization parameters through referring to mining handbook and project experience.Then a superior and economical open pit limit of the mine was achieved finally.It can be used to guide the resource development and investment decisions of the mine in earlier period and also provide a reliable basis for the arrangement of production plan and the real-time dispatch control in the later period.

    When the medium-thick ore-body is mined by depressurized mining method, the stope structure and the parameters should be chosen and arranged according to the depressurized effect. So, the influence factors of depressurized mining on medium-thick ore-body are analyzed. As a result, the influencing relationship of the depressurized mining with the ore body condition, the stope design parameters, the mining parameters and the blasted ore drawing characteristic are determined. Then the dynamic constraint condition is established. Based on the research above, it provides a basis and proposal for the choice and optimization of parameters for depressurized mining of the medium-thick ore-body.

    Through the measurement and analysis of samples in the second mining of Xitieshan, Geermu in Qinghai province and its surrounding regions, the three-dimensional finite element analysis method with ABAQUS is adopted to inversely simulate the ground stress of mine area, and the stress state and its distribution regularities are quantitatively or qualitatively determined, including its size, direction, and its distribution. It is achieved that maximum principal stress value is 8.35MPa ~ 12.80 MPa at the 2822 level of mining with the average NW and NE direction. And its minimum horizontal principal stress value is 4.02 ~ 6.15 MPa. The ratio of the principal stress and the vertical principal stress is between 1.24 ~ 2.46 . And a reasonable and effective proposal is given for the next phase of the work.

    When levying compensation fees in the administration of collection of the mineral resources compensation,the main problem is how to select the resonable method. The advantages and disadvantages of three methods for levy tax: ad valorem collection, quantity-based collection and quota or estimation collection are described in detail. According to the different usage and quality of mineral resources, the suggestion to exact method compensations when levying is given. With the principle of “ad valorem levy”,the levy way can improve the levying efficiency, and promote small-scale mining right owner to consciously treasure resources.

    According to the characteristics of open pit mining firstly and the opencast-underground mining secondly, the most hard rock strata in coal seam is determined to be the key strata of mine, and the key stratum is considered as the beam of elastic foundation. The theories of combination girder are used to calculate the upper loads of key stratum. Based on the calculation of stress and deformation of key strata, the stress distribution rule in underlying coal seam in fracture of key strata is obtained, and the slope roadway stability is used as the criterion to set the reasonable position of terminal mining line at underground. By this method, the issues of large roadway stability under slope in Pingshuo mining area can be successfully resolved.

    According to the requirement of pumpability of filling slurry with waste rock-unclassified tailings which is transported in pipeline in Jinchuan No.2 Mining Area, the collapsed slump, diffusion degree, and segregation degree of the filling slurry are tested. Through the results of the test, the influences on the pumpability are analyzed from such factors as slurry concentration, cement addition, and mix proportion. Concentration and rate of filling material are preliminarily determined,which provides a reference for the further industrial tests of the mine.

    According to the ore property of the oolitic high phosphorus hematite, the reverse flotation-roasting-magnetic separation technical process is adopted, and the iron concentrate with 60.09% iron grade, 70.04% iron recovery & 0.23% phosphorus is obtained. Thus the problem of too much phosphorus in the oolitic hematite can be effectively solved, thus providing a technical reference for exploiting high phosphorus hematite.

    In order to further enhance iron ore concentrate grade of Dahongshan, an industrial cleaning separation test is carried out for the second-stage and third-stage weak magnetic concentrate by adopting the magnetic field screening separator in Dahongshan 4 million t/a processing plant. After three magnetic separations, iron concentrate grade is increased from 65.16% up to 67.27% with iron recovery of 89.24%. And SiO2 content in concentrate is dropped to 3.97% from  5.82%. It is shown that the magnetic screen has a significant effect on iron increase and silicon reduction.

    Through experiments on ore characteristics and mineral processing of Ferro sands from Indonesia beach, the chemical composition, mineral composition, size distribution and the main iron minerals liberation degree are identified. The results of processing mineralogy test show that the main metallic minerals are titano-magnetite, and a few hematitized magnetite and limonite are coexisted; and it has a good natural liberation degree. For run-of-mine with TFe of 30.52%, vanadium-titanium magnetite concentrate with the yield of 45.0%, TFe grade of 58.04%, and recovery of 86.27% is obtained under grinding fineness of -0.074mm 80.0% by the flow-sheet of one rough low-intensity magnetic separation and one cleaning low-intensity magnetic separation. This research provides a basis for the development and utilization of beach Ferro resources of this type.

    Research on beneficiation tests for a certain iron ore from South Africa was carried out. The experiments showed that under grinding fineness at -0.074mm 70% and magnetic intensity at 79.557KA/m, the iron concentrate with Fe grade of 65.96%, the yield of 88.46%, and the recovery of 98.30% could be obtained by two-stage magnetic separation.

    Based on the investigation of former beneficiation technology in dressing plant of Sijiaying Iron Ore, some improvement on the original beneficiation process are made gradually due to some problems in the process. Through the technical improvement, the iron concentrate grade is increased from 63.00% to 65.50% and its recovery is enhanced from45.00% to 70.00% with remarkable economic benefits obtained.

    Based on identifying the chemical composition, mineral composition,and its occurrence of samples, a test program and process flow-sheet is determined after a great deal of conditioning experiments. It is found that the mixed flotation process of copper sulphide and copper oxide with the addition of mixed collector can realize the copper concentrate grading at 16.08% with a 75.04% recovery.

    Ammonium di-iso-butyl dithiophosphate and ammonium di-n-butyl dithiophosphate is isobutyl isomers, they have the same molecular formula, only alkyl isomers. According to the principle of isomeric chemistry, when organic substances have the same molecular formula and the same functional groups, their chemical and physical properties are very similar. The flotation performance of flotation reagents are fully affected by its physical and chemical properties, so the flotation performance of isomers should be very similar. Therefore, some sort of flotation reagent's isomers with features of wide source, low price, easy to be synthetic, and low toxicity can always filter out the better flotation reagents. In this paper, by synthetizing the isomer of ammonium di-n-butyl dithiophosphate -ammonium di-iso-butyl dithiophosphate and by using these two isomers respectively as collector to make a flotation for lead-zinc ore. The test results show that the argument above mentioned is correct.

    In the conditions of pH >1 and 0<pH≤1, Ce concentration is measured by the method of atomic absorption spectroscopy in the two phase of P204-HCl-H3AOH extraction system to study the effect of acidy and extractant concentration on distribution ratio of Ce. Through infrared spectrum testing and analysis of P204+kerosene system and the organic phase loading Ce in the P204-HCl-H3AOH extraction system, the effect on extraction mechanism of Ce in P204-HCl-H3AOH extraction system by acidy is also studied. Whereby, the extraction equilibrium constant is calculated. The results show that displacement reaction between Ce and P—OH happens and the extraction process abide by the cation exchange mechanism under the condition of pH>1, and the extraction equilibrium constant  KCe  is 10-1.63. Then both the group of P=O and the group of P—OH can do complex reaction with Ce and the extraction mechanism is the dual mechanism theory of cation exchange mechanism and salvation complex mechanism, which can increase the extraction capacity of Ce, and the extraction equilibrium constant KCe is 100.13.

    Based on the properties analysis of a limonite sample, a determination method for the total iron content was recommended. The mixture of sulphuric acid and phosphoric acid was used to dissolve sample, and SnCl2 was utilized to deoxidize Fe3+ in the solution. After that, HgCl2 was applied to oxidize superfluous SnCl2, and potassium dichromate titrating solution was used to titrate total Fe content with sodium diphenylaminesulfonate as the indicator. Results indicate that it has a high analysis accuracy and precision,and the error can be controlled within the chemical analysis standard.

    The GIS-based weight of evidence (WofE) method was adopted for metallogenic prediction of new-type ore deposits. At first, the research situation of new-type mineral resources was introduced, and then a study case was made on the evaluation of new-type ore deposits in the central southern section of Daxing'anling. Based on the establishment of geological minerals spatial database, the weights of evidence prediction model was built and two forecast prospects were delineated by using GIS techniques, analyzing the unusual metallogenic information including mineral geology, geophysics, geochemistry and studying the relationship of the geological abnormal and mineralization with multi-science. The results of research showed that this method was effective and practical in the metallogenic prediction of new ore deposits, thus providing a scientific basis for the further exploration and development of the mineral resources in the study.

    The paper presents the geological profile of Wuzongbulake gold deposit, such as  geotectonic position, mining geology and ores' characteristics, wall rocks, ore quality etc, and prospects some reasonable suggestion for future. In combination of field investigation and laboratory analysis, the following major conclusions were made: Its geotectonic position is favorable for mineralization; The gold deposit belongs to the gold-bearing quartz veins and altered rock type related to the fracture zone; The main gold veins mostly come from the quartz veins, and are controlled by the North-west secondary faults belt. The ore bodies are the vein and lenticular type of ore with a certain scale and good continuity. It is a kind of stable ore, and ore grade changes little. From samples, it is known that the resources reserve of No. L4 ore body can be greatly increased with a good resource prospect among four gold bodies. The other three has not belonged to the ore.

    With the principle of photogrammetry, the digital camera is adopted to take photography for mine surface and underground to monitor the mine. Then the mine spatial data can be quickly obtained, forming a large-scale survey map. So the surface changes and the underground mined-out variation can be measured.     Under the manual management mode of the mining drawings, it is difficult to control the design and the circle of approval, and the document management task is tedious. Based on workflow technology for mining drawings, this paper analyzed business processes of mining drawings in the full life cycle, established a mining drawing dynamic management model, and defined transfer processes of mining drawings. Four kinds of transition structures on workflow engine reflected the connections and constraint relations among various activities during the transfer of mining drawings. Finally, the system's overall structure and the compositions of function modules are discussed, and the realization of the key technical details are described. The site application showed that the system realized the automation of process management in the full life cycle of mining drawings and improved the working efficiency.

    Both of sector sluices and cone concentrators belong to the weak turbulent flow film machines with a similar principle. It has advantages of simple structure, less water, less electricity and moderate processing capability in the experimental study. The influence factors for separation are analyzed such as the ratio of discharge end to feed, the feed concentration, the inclined angle of the lauder, the feed quantity and so on, and some aspects in sector sluices are optimized by changing the method of cutting minerals and the shape of the inclined lauder. The experimental study on sector sluices and 3DSD cone concentrator for some tailing indicates that the enrichment ratio and concentrate recovery of the optimized sector sluices are ideal, which is similar to that of 3DSD cone concentrator.     The treatment of acid wastewater from beneficiation of high-phosphate hematite mineral by in-situ self-formed dynamic membrane reactor developed with modified dephosphorization agent was studied. The results indicated that the main effects on phosphate removal were the dosage of dephosphorization agent, velocity gradient (G value), reaction time, pH and so on. For the actual beneficiation wastewater with pH 2.50 ~ 2.53, and phosphate content of 98.85 mg/L, the optimum dosage of raw and modified dephosphorization agent was 23.00g/L and 20.00 g/L, respectively. The phosphate removal could reach 94.33% and 99.72%, correspondingly effluent pH was 8.12 and 3.06, respectively. Both of e turbidity could reach the effluent requirement after being treated with dynamic membrane reactor. The on-line circulation and entirely recycle of the acidic wastewater could be achieved by the coupling technique of modified dephosphorization and the dynamic membrane reactor.

    With pot experiments in room, the influences of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi on the alfalfa growth directly planted in iron tailing and the environments of iron tailings are investigated. The results show that the addition of  Glomus etunicatum can greatly improve the emergency and survival rate of alfalfa in iron tailings, and significantly increase the root dry weight, leading to the reduction of bacteria and the increase of epiphytes and actinomycetes. Its difference is significant. Mycorrhizal fungi has a high infection rate of 80% or more on roots of alfalfa, which promotes iron phosphorus content increased in the tailings. Comparing with different adding level, 2.5% of mass ratio is the most effective and can be used as the suitable inoculum concentration. In short, the vaccination of Glomus etunicatum in iron tailings can significantly increase the root growth of alfalfa, improve the rhizosphere microflora, and promote the release of phosphorus in the tailing, which benefit for vegetation reclamation of iron tailings.

    The preparation of porous ceramics with Red Mud derived from Bayer process as the main raw material for treatment of waste water in production of alumina was studied. The research indicated that the porous ceramics can meet demands of waste water treatment with the addition of Bayer red mud, fly ash and river sediments by mass ratio of 70%, 20% and 10%, after natural cooling from sintering temperature of 1135℃. If it is used in treating the oil-containing waste water, the oil removal rate is three times than that of sands at the same conditions.

    Taking the natural polymer compounds of chitosan as raw materials, the insoluble cross-linked chitosan was synthesized by the reaction of chitosan with epichlorohydrin under alkaline conditions as the adsorbent of uranium-bearing wastewater. The influence factors on adsorption of uranium were investigated in details, such as pH value, adsorbent dosage, uranium initial concentration, particle size and equilibrium of adsorption and the adsorption kinetics law of uranium on cross-linked chitosan were described. The results show that under the conditions of pH=3~5, adding 10 mg cross-linked chitosan, the adsorption equilibrium for the 50 mg/L uranium can be obtained after 160min of adsorption, and the adsorption removal efficiency of cross-linked chitosan for uranium was over 98.0%. The adsorption law of uranium on cross-linked chitosan followed the Langmuir model very well and the pseudo second-order kinetics model was used to describe the adsorption process. When the initial concentrations of uranium is 50 mg/L, the adsorption removal efficiency of chitosan and cross-linked chitosan for uranium is 87.4% and 98.0% respectively, and the absorbability of cross-linked chitosan was improved significantly.

    There inevitably exists noise in observation data obtained in deformation monitoring. How to extract diagnostic information from noise data sequence and improve deformation monitoring precision is the critical technology among the deformation monitoring system. This paper applies the wavelet theory method to study the denoise effect with the monitoring data, which mainly focuses on studies of the influence of the denoise method (algorism), wavelet base function and threshold value. The data processed by hard threshold value is rougher than that by soft threshold value. And the soft threshold value has a better effect. The threshold value and wavelet base function have an important influence. It achieves a good effect by forced denoise, and the select of reconstruction scale also has an important influence on filtering.

The dimensional analysis method is used to study the generation and dissemination of blasting vibration.     A newly-built construction above goaf site is required for development demand in Handan of Hebei province. But the geological conditions were extremely complex, building loads led to the loss of underground water. RFPA2D analy seftnare is used in this article, and under the action of building loads and confined water head, the process that causes the loss of underground water from initiation, propagation and coalescence to rupture of rock fractures around the stope is reproduced. Then the mine water resources and its related issues are proposed and analyzed. The results show that with the building loads increase, the propagation of cracks is extending from the top to the bottom of the goaf, and shallow groundwater seeps together into the deep goaf. This study provides a reference for safe utilizing the goaf site, protecting water resources in mining area and preventing deterioration of the ecological environment.

    Based on the security system engineering, the fault tree analysis method with the reliability theory is applied as a system analysis tool to create a fault tree which can clearly reflect the relevant factors in the foam dust removal system and their cause-results logical relationship. In combination with foam capture model and the related experimental results, various proposals on the foam dust control system are analyzed. Finally, it is proved that the probability of events occurrence and the importance order of each bottom event can be obtained from the foam dust removal system. By building a proper mathematical model, the mechanisms of coal dust control system is analyzed and evaluated.

    Insulating and cooling technology for high temperature strata roadway in deep mine is studied, and the main purpose of the research is to provide design parameters for cooling of deep mine roadway. The heat emission model from roadway surrounding rocks without insulation layer to roadway is investigated, and the forming principle of heat circle control, the heat transfer analytic equation and parameters are analyzed. Then the heat emission model for roadway surrounding rock with insulation layer to roadway is investigated, and the changing principle of heat circle control is analyzed to determine the insulating and cooling effect theory analytic expression and the corresponding parameters. Through industrial tests, the insulation heat effect can reach 64% by adopting the insulating and cooling technology, which has great technical and economic benefits.

    RMRrock mass classification and  Q system classification were used to analyze the overall stability of Pude iron mine, and 3D FEM numerical simulation was applied to get the stress distribution during the residual ore mining. Comparing with the above three results, the comprehensive evaluation on the stability of rocks mass while mining residual ore for Pude iron mine was reached and some reasonable suggestions were made for the next production. The results showed that conclusions from  RMR and Q system classification were consistent with the actual exploitation stability. Combing the above two evaluation methods with FEM numerical simulation, rock mass stability can be analyzed more accurately, which plays an important role in predicting and evaluating rock mass stability in the future.

    Taking the Hengyuan coal mine in north of Anhui as study region, an indoor simulating leaching experiment was made to detect the mass concentration, PH and electrical conductivity of the pollutants, such as Na+, SO2-4, F-, Fe, total dissolved solids (TDS), total hardness etc., in the leaching solution. And the pollutants' leaching rules and their simulation degradation powerful number curves which show their degradation with the increase of leaching amount were analyzed and studied. Results showed that in the leaching solution, the PH value was weakly changed, presenting neutral near to weak acidity, and compositions like SO2-4, F-, Mn, etc. are beyond standard, while other heavy metals like Cr,Cu,Pb,Cd, etc. are invisible. In prophase of the leaching experiment, concentrations of some pollutants, such as Na+,TDS, total hardness etc., are very high. While in the later stage, along with the increase of leaching amount, the concentrations present a trend of degradation and toward steady, and their attenuation equations basically conform to the relation of power function. It is showed that the pollutants of the coal gangue have an impact on groundwater quality, and affect the evolution process of groundwater environment to a certain extent in leaching process.

    In view of the Morphological structure characteristics of rock and soil stratum, the applicability of stochastic medium theory in tunnel excavation was analyzed. Based on this, the stochastic medium model of ground surface subsidence in Duyan tunnel excavation was built, and then the program model brings to effect by selecting the proper parameters. Through the practical example, the paper analyzed the influence rule of each model parameter. At last, the correctness of the model is verified by the measured data with K1+700 tunnel contour.

    The mechanical properties and duribility of C50 high performance concrete which was prepared by equal quantity of calcined kaolin from coal bearing strata to replace of cement with the same proportion has been studied systematically. Then parallel tests are compared with active admixture silica fume that is commonly used in projects. The comparison showed that the calcined kaolin can acquire high hydration activity after calcined at 700 ℃. When cement was replaced with 10% admixture, the metakaolin concrete obtains excellent mechanical properties as well as duribility. Moreover, the metakaolin has a better effect on bending strength of concrete than that of silica fume.

    The complex exploitation and utilization of gold mine in China was introduced and the disposal status quo of cyanide tailing from arsenical-copper gold concentrate preparation by flotation was presented. The factors that influenced the leach of gold and silver and the leaching mechanism were analyzed. The experiments showed that the leach rates of gold and silver from the cyanide tailings were increased to 82.9% and 61.54% respectively by adding the mixed additive, adopting two-stage roasting and grinding with the addition of leaching aid agent before being treated with cyanide. Meanwhile, the grades of gold and silver were decreased to 0.55 g/t and 30 g/t separately.

    The bauxite tailing is a complicated mineral after beneficiation of bauxite, which mainly contains diaspore, kaolin, mica et al. The pile of tailing will occupy plenty of lands, and pollute the environment and simultaneously, resulting in resource waste. Therefore, it is urgent to make full use of the tailing. Based on the research of chemical compositions, phase composition and thermal analysis for the tailing, this paper introduces the ultra-fine processing as well as surface modification of tailing and its application in PVC plastics. The results indicates that the tailing is probability suitable for usage in PVC plastics filler because of its good thermal stability property, small particle size and uniform size distribution after ultra-fine processing, and even the similar compositions with the common-used inorganic fillers. The main performances of the soft PVC product and the PVC-U pipes for chemical industry meet the standard requirements with the tailing powder of 60% and 20% as filler respectively. This technology of utilization for tailings can not only enhance the extra values of the tailing, but also bring the distinct social and environmental benefits.

    Taking tailings and blast furnace slag as main raw materials, sodium hydroxide as activator, and the sodium silicate of industrial liquid as templating agent, geo-polymers was prepared. And its compressive strength in 7 d under different preparation conditions was tested. The result indicated that geo-polymer reach maximum compressive strength in 7 d to  5.10 MPa when tailings occupy 80% of blast furnace slag. As the mass ratio of Na2SiO3 and NaOH is 50%∶50%, the compressive strength in 7 d can reach maximum compressive strength of 63.79 MPa. As the solid-to-liquid is 35%, the compressive strength in 7 d can reach maximum 38.35 MPa; As the curing period is 14 d, the compressive strength can reach maximum 71.25 MPa. As the steel slag in solid is 20%, the compressive strength can reach maximum 61.86 MPa.
