    The common problems existing in the exploitation of flat-dipping thin ore-bodies are that the production capacity is lower and the recovery is difficult.Through developing the inclined well and adopting belt hoisting,continuous ore-drawing at medium belt transport,and sub-section advancing mining process,no  or less pillar remained,the continuous recovery can be realized.The working width should be controlled to maximize the ore recovery and reduce the dilution so as to effectively solve the problems in mining and transportation.This method can provide a new idea for the efficient exploitation of thin ore-body,and the research results play an important role in high efficient mining of thin mineral veins.

    During the establishment of the support vector regression(SVR) prediction model of infiltration route data in tailing dam,the prediction accuracy and the computational time are two difficult problems to control,which severely constrain the extensive application of the SVR model.To solve these two problems,the rough set(RS) algorithm is adopted to reduce the attribute for training samples,then the prediction model of infiltration route is established with the SVR algorithmThe cases proved that RS-SVR model effectively lowered the difficulty of SVR model iteration,and made the prediction accuracy improved.It can be seen that the RS-SVR is feasible not only in theory but in application.

    Due to studying on the relation of the supporting frame and the surrounding rock of fully-release mining in large mining height stope,the paper analyzed the movement rule,internal force,and displacement of the hydraulic supporting frame -roofoverlying rocks and the falling rock mass,and the movement rule of the dynamic balance arch and the multispan beams under the arch to determine the working resistance of the hydraulic supporting frame and the overlying rocks.Through the simulating experiments in Lab,its movement rule is verified.Meanwhile,with the numerical simulation based on FLAC3D,the damage mechanics model is used to simulate the variation of the internal force in actual mining of the roof- the overlying rocks of the large mining bench and get its distribution so as to affirm the structural system method.

    This paper presents a practical final-pit optimization algorithm for open-pit metal mines based on a breakeven strip ratio and a block model of ore grade.In this algorithm,the optimum final-pit is obtained by using a cone-scanning and eliminating process to strip off the portions whose instantaneous strip ratios are greater than the breakeven strip ratio,starting from the geometrically bounded pit which is the largest possible pit limit.The algorithm can easily incorporate different final-slope angles in different directions and zones,and different bench heights in different altitude ranges.The application showed that the algorithm was computationally efficient and highly practical.

    The finite element method is adopted to build a simulation model of high and steep rock slope of open pit in Pingchuan Iron Ore.Based on the seepage mechanism analysis of groundwater at open pit,the coupling model of both seepage field and stress field is established,and the coupling stability of finite element two-dimensional slope seepage-stress field for high and steep rock slope at open pit is calculated,with the safety coefficients given.With the comparison of the results by the finite element method and the limit equilibrium method,it is found out that their safety coefficients are consistent,and the shear cracks caused by slope landslide are similar,and their destruction curves are coherent also.

    The investigation on the reagent removal effects of sodium sulfide to copper and lead mixing concentrate by the sensitivity of the new combined inhibitor DW after reagent removal of mixing concentrate were carried out.It was affirmed that it had a remarkable removal effect, and there are some differences in inhabitation of the copper and lead mixing concentrate by DW.With the application of UV spectrophotometry, and solution chemistry method, the reagent removal mechanism of sodium sulfide was studied.The results showed that in the experimental conditions, a competitive adsorption happened between HS-by hydrolysis of sodium sulfide and butyl xanthate ion adsorbed on the surface of the minerals and made the butyl xanthate ion realize desorption.This is the basic reason for that sodium sulfide has a remarkable reagent removal effect on the mixed copper and lead concentrates by xanthate flotation.

    The paper introduces the native quartz-tungsten bismuth poly-metallic ore type from a tungsten ore in Jiangxi, and analyzes its process mineralogy feature.A systematic and comprehensive study on the reasonable beneficiation process for this ore is carried out to explore the important technical parameters.The research results showed that the ore is a kind of coarse, less impurities, ore that is easy to be concentrated.By adopting the process of(jigging + shaking table) rough classification-floatation desulphurization-magnetic separation,Tungsten concentrates grading 64.27% at a recovery of 77.65% was achieved from the raw ore with WO3 of 0.51%.

    Based on the characteristics of some unwieldy oolitic hematite ores, tests on depth reduction-magnetic separation are carried out.The growth characteristics of metallic iron grains in depth reduction of unwieldy oolitic hematite are investigated. And the effects of different experimental conditions, such as reduction temperature, reduction time, binary basicity on the iron grains growth are discussed in detail.The results show that raising the reduction temperature and prolonging the reduction time are beneficial to the iron grains growth, while the over-high binary basicity is bad for the iron grain growth.

    The paper analyzed the ore properties of oolitic hematite in Western Hubei.And the contrast study on reduction roasting -magnetic separation effect of this oolitic hematite and that of several domestic typical refractory oxidized iron ores found that the magnetization effect of roasting for oolitic hematite ore from western Hubei was much different from those for hematite, limonite and siderite ores under same magnetizing roasting conditions.The mechanism for reduction roasting of oolitic hematite ore was discussed and analyzed.It is proposed that a way of adopting flash magnetizing roasting-magnetic separation process after reducing particle sizes of feeding (below 0.2 mm), and is a promising approach for recovering the oolitic hematite ore in western Hubei province.

    The basic behavior of self-induced flotation and externally controlled voltages flotation of pentlandite was investigated.It was shown that pentlandite exhibit good self-induced floatability in the acidic condition and the self-induced floatability can be changed under externally controlled voltages.However,the self-induced floatability of pentlandite can not be realized and even hardly be improved by externally controlled voltages in alkaline condition.Through the cyclic voltammetric curve analysis on the externally controlled voltages,the sulphur element may be the primary hydrophobic entity on the surface of pentlandite.

    During the process of heap leaching, incrustation is easy to precipitate on the surface of ore, which leads to decrease of the permeability of leaching yard and finally affects the leaching rate.Taking the acid heap leaching technique of a high-slurry high-alkali ore in Yunnan as background, the SEM scanning and X-ray diffraction analysis on the leaching ores of incrustation showed that the  composition of incrustation was mainly CaSO4, that is because Ca2+ was continuously generated, which absorbed the SO42+ in leaching process.By adding different anti-incrustation agent in experiments, and with the help of scanning electron microscopy, the inhibiting effect of the anti incrustation agent on the incrustation of ores was verified.The mechanism of the anti-incrustation agent was mainly chelate effect and crystal distortion effect.

    The paper analyzed the difficulties in separation of Manganese and Silver for a silver-bearing multi-metal manganese ore from the angle of process mineralogy. With a reference to the process mineralogy study of similar ores, and combining with the nature of this ore, one suitable process is proposed, which consists of dry screening classification-dry coarse high intensity magnetic separation-wet fine high intensity magnetic separation-mixed concentrate wet leaching.Through the laboratory tests, a mixed concentrate grading at 31.59% of manganese, 657.9g / t of silver, 11.72% of iron with a Mn recovery of 90.24%, Ag recovery of 91.29%, Fe recovery of 78.51% were achieved respectivelyThis process provides a basis for large scale, high-efficiency and low cost production of similar ores.

    The detailed mineralogical study about a high arsenic & sulfur-containing gold ore is carried out,and based on this,a magnetic separation-gravity joint test process is proposed.After the conditioning tests of grinding size for magnetic separation,magnetic strength,fineness for gravity separation etc.,the qualified sulfur concentrate with a 17.81% of recovery containing 36.11% of sulfur and 0.03% of arsenic,and gold concentrate with a 47.63% of recovery containing 16.84% of gold and 13.63% of arsenic are obtained.

    This paper briefly described the nature of a hematite ore and the investigation on its technical conditions for beneficiation from the grinding fineness, the type and dosage of reagent.With reference of the conditioning tests, a closed circuit experiment of one roughing-three cleaning-two scavenging-middle ores back to the feed was carried out.Then, iron concentrate grading at 62.55% with a 71.57% iron recovery of was obtained.

    Temperature is an important factor to affect the diffusion coefficient and the reaction rate.The experimental study on the variation of reduction process of vanadium titanium magnetite at the same time and different temperatures was performed, and the reduction mechanism of vanadium-titanium magnetite by microwave carbon-thermal was explored.The results showed the conditions of mass transfer and the reduction effects of can be significantly improved at 1 400~ 1 500 ℃, thus achieving vanadium alloy by removing iron slag.

    Makeng Iron Mine in Fujian belongs to a roof karst water-filled mine with complicated hydro-geological conditions.From mining start some years ago,sudden water inflow accidents constantly happened and have severely restricted the safety production.The groundwater flow field form mainly reflects the comprehensive hydro-geological condition.The paper  dopted the karst water level data of different periods to draw and analyze the karst water flow field form in each period.It is summarized that with continuously dewatering of karst water,the recharge,runoff and discharge conditions of karst  water system in Makeng mine is mainly controlled by the fault and also varied with karst development and lithology differences.And groundwater flow field form not only has no good consistency in space,but obviously restricts the overall dewatering of karst water in mine.For the main factors in variation of flow field form,a targeted dewatering  ountermeasure is proposed.

    According to the characteristics of the reference points in mining areas which were laid at early time and are easy to shift ,the theory of high breakdown contamination rate for the coordinate transformation with the reference points' displacements is proposed to ensure the quality of coordinate system transformation for the high precision GPS control network and eliminate the impact of the displacements existed in the transformation reference points on the transformed results.Then the estimation model for the coordinate transformation parameters and the quality evaluation system for transformed GPS network are established.Taking a Yanzhou mining area for example,the results show that the model can choose a reasonable and stable reference points and remain the high precision characteristics of GPS technology,also provide a high precision coordinate datum for the mining area.

    Based on the principle of pole density statistics,and by applying the three-dimensional statistical method,the space analytic geometry is adopted to directly calculate the included angle.During the statistical process of density,the probability density distribution of the rock mass structural plane in sample space is assumed as normal distribution.According to this spatial distribution,the probability density of each pole is calculated,thus forming a density map with principle and method of the spherical projection.

    With development of the constructed wetland technology and extending of eco-city  concept,it is popular of the  sustainable evaluation and land reclamation of subsidence area in mining field.In view of the need of sustainable evaluation and land reclamation in mining subsidence area,this paper discusses mainly introduces the general structure of constructed wetland and ecological management GIS system in urban by COMGIS secondary development technology,with a resource-based Tangshan city as a case.With the organic combination of spatial information in Ecological Park,subsidence information in subsidence area, and remote sensing data at different phases,an innovative database model GIS map is built.Then the secondary index of database link is realized.Combining of the artificial secondary wetland assessment,urban ecological treatment,and by means of building the information platform of graphic data and attribute data,an advanced platform is established for land reclamation,ecological treatment assessment and spatial analysis of mining subsidence.

    The ground movement and deformation due to underground mining is an important engineering problem.When the ground deformation surpasses a certain range,the buildings on the ground surface will be destroyed.The prediction on the size and its influence scope of the surface subsidence,dipping,curvature,horizontal movements and horizontal deformation is carried out to determine whether the buildings are affected by the mining and its influencing degree,as a scientific guidance of underground mining.In this paper,visualization of surface movement and deformation is realized with probability integral method as a theoretical basis and Matlab software as the programming platform.Matlab software has lots of advantages with make up the deficiencies of other software in some aspects.This software can offer aid for calculation of surface movement and deformation.

    With the digital imaging processing, the bubbles imaging in flotation column were obtained.By adopting the image processing software of Pro Plus 5.0, the size and the diameter distribution of bubbles are calculated, and the effect of mean size and wettability of foaming generator, superficial gas velocity on the size of the bubbles were studied.The results showed that Sauter diameter of the bubbles decreases with the decrease of superficial gas velocity and mean size of foaming generator, and wettability of foaming generator has obvious effect on the size of bubble.Compared with hydrophobic foaming generator, it is easier to produce micro-bubble for hydrophilic foaming generator.The bubbles produced by foaming generator which with smaller pore and hydrophobic material are beneficial for the recovery of fine particles by flotation.

    In order to study the accuracy of products materials prediction in rolling process, and based on the intersected idea raised by M.Torres due to the uneven stress in the roller surface, the grinding and comminution model of roller press is deeply investigated.The on-site tests are carried out by adopting the equipment in Luanxian crushing plant, and the test data is analyzed.After that, MATLAB software is used to fit the selection function and breakage function model to ascertain all parameters that affect the products granularity of roller press.Then an appropriate selection and breakage function model is obtained.After the axial intersection of roller press, the corresponding model parameters are gained according to the experimental data.

    The main raw materials demanded by Benxi Iron and iron company are sinters, however the grade level of sintering products and the variation of alkalinity greatly influence the blast furnace process.The paper describes the features of the energy scattering X-ray fluorescence spectrometer in detection of SiO2, CaO, TFe content among sinters, and its detection mechanism.The factors of resulting in error detection are analyzed and the related solutions are  proposed. Through comparison of the data from the energy scattering X-ray fluorescence spectrometer with the assay data, the detection accuracy and rapidity of the instrument have been ensured.

    Under the conditions of U-type ventilation,the numerical simulation on the characteristics of flow field,the distribution of methane density and the rule of air density change are studied by numerical simulation software of CFD at the mining face spaces.The simulations show that from intake airflow into roadway,working face and to return airway,the characteristics of airflow field shows to be simple firstly,complex next and simple again.The flow field is the most complex at the crossing of the intake airflow roadway and the return airway; The gas concentration at working face space shows gradually increasing along the airflow direction with larger variety only appearing at local position,and gas concentration along coal wall is higher than that along mining-out area; Under the condition of U-type ventilation,gas can be easily accumulated to be the highest level around the top of intake airflow roadway close to coal wall and the upper corner,and the gas concentration at the upper corner is triangle in shape.

    In view of the problems that the high concentration of phosphate remained in secondary effluent, and combining with the related research at home and abroad, adsorption processes were attempted to remove phosphate, which used the  inexpensive natural zeolite as basic materials, the lanthanum ion as inorganic loading ion, loading dose of lanthanum chloride as the inorganic loading dose to compoundly treat Zeolite.After treatment, the removal capacity of phosphate by zeolite reached 83.83 %.The appropriate composite conditions were pH=10, 0.4% of LaCl3 concentration, compound time of 1 h, 200 ℃ of calcined temperature for 1 h.Compared with the power function, Elovich absorption kinetic equation could more clearly describe the absorption mechanism in phosphorus removal process by the composite  adsorbent.Through the contrast analysis by scanning electron microscope, it is shown that in the preparation of composite adsorbent process, the surface morphology and micro-pore size of zeolite and its shape have been changed.

    With the decision-making requirements of tailing ponds' security management,the index system on the safety assessment and prediction of the tailing pond was set up based on the analysis of the tailing ponds' danger sources.The application of the diversity factor and the set pair potential in tailing ponds' safety assessment and prediction was introduced in detail.The fuzzy hierarchy analysis method and set pair analysis were applied to evaluate and forecast the safe condition of the tailing pond.Then the safety level of the tailing pond was established to reflect the safety management and analyzed the development tendency of safe condition.A new way of combining safety assessment with safety prediction was explored,which can support safe operation and safety management of the tailing pond effectively.

    Abstract As the dust hazards are severe in the tunneling workface,this paper proposed a new dust control technique with foam in fully mechanized workface based on a systematic analysis on the characteristics of foaming dust control technique.And then it is applied to the E 10-21180 heading face of Pingdingshan Mine.The application results indicated that at the place where the driver is in,the efficiency of total dust control with form is up to 87.90%,which is 2.10 times as the water spray did.The efficiency of the respirable dust control is 75.97%,2.37 times as the water spray did.It has a remarkable control effect which can effectively control the dust hazard.

    The absorption effect and absorption behavior of tailings of magnetic separation of converter sludge as test samples on copper ion were investigated.The results show that removal rate of Cu2+ can reach 97.86%, companying with the suitable conditions, that is, the tailings of magnetic separation of converter sludge of 8.0 g/L in dosage, concentration of Cu2+ of 20 mg/L and the reaction time 50 min.The importance of adsorption factors are shown as follows:the dosage of tailings > initial concentration of copper ion solution> reaction time.The adsorption reaction mainly consists of the surface  dsorption with somewhat replacement reaction accompanied.

    Through the tests on the As3+ wastewater treatment for As(Ⅲ) removal by magnesium hydroxide, the effects of reaction time, magnesium dosage, pH value and temperature on As(Ⅲ) removal were explored.The experimental results showed that magnesium hydroxide had an excellent performance in the removal of As(Ⅲ) ions from As3+ wastewater with easy operation and a high removal efficiency(up to 99% above).Its absorption isotherm mode matches well with Langmuir adsorption isotherm function,and its maximum adsorption capacity is 4.04 mg/L.

    A Bauxite Flotation Tailings was roasted at 600 ℃ for 3 h,then leached in sulfuric acid of concentration 45% at 100 ℃ for 3 h with a liquid-to-solid ratio of 5∶,and the leaching rates of Aluminum and Ferric reached 61.65% and 94.10% respectively.The product of liquid Polymeric Aluminum Ferric Sulfate which was prepared with the leaching solution by adding proper amount of ferrous sulfate and hydrogen peroxide accorded with the national standard.The coagulation tests results for different kinds of water indicated that the product was very efficient to the removal of turbidity and suspended substance.

    The recovery and utilization of tailings is attracting more and more attention in modern society.In view of large capacity of copper-nickel mine tailings drainage every year in a fine-grained single nickel-based feature,the Swirl Injection Flotation Column was used to do the re-concentration test in laboratory firstly.Then,based on the laboratory tests,the industrial test is made.A nickel concentrate grading 2.78% at a recovery of 14.86% and MgO grading below 8.25% were obtained from the production tailings which have 0.23% Ni by the process consisting of one roughing,one scavenging and three cleanings.
