Abstract: Abstract As the dust hazards are severe in the tunneling workface，this paper proposed a new dust control technique with foam in fully mechanized workface based on a systematic analysis on the characteristics of foaming dust control technique.And then it is applied to the E 10-21180 heading face of Pingdingshan Mine.The application results indicated that at the place where the driver is in，the efficiency of total dust control with form is up to 87.90%，which is 2.10 times as the water spray did.The efficiency of the respirable dust control is 75.97%，2.37 times as the water spray did.It has a remarkable control effect which can effectively control the dust hazard.
