Abstract: The supply security of iron ores will influence and determine the sustainable development of economic and society of China.According to the needs of iron ore supply security evaluation，a supply safety evaluation system for iron ore was built with some correlative factorsBased on this，the situation of iron ore supply safety in recent years of China was analyzed with analysis of the principal component and the safety level，thus providing a reliable foundation for drawing the strategies，principles and policies of mining industry development of China.
