Abstract: The optimal design theory is used to develop the structure of the robot's arm，and the mathematical model of the arm is established with multi-objective optimal design method，which gained the optimal design scheme.This solution enabled the front end of the arm approximately moving along with the vertical line to meet the demanding of process，and also take account of economical efficiency.
