Abstract

Abstract: From the point of Mapping，and based on practice，this article discusses and analyzes the process of building a map database on the investigation of mineral resources utilization with AutoCAD and MAPGIS.Combining MAPGIS with AutoCAD to map can greatly reduce the tedious repeated labor，and make full use of the existing geographic information resources.Meanwhile，some methods and skills in operation are offered.
