Beneficiation Tests on Suichang Carbonate Fluorite Ore

Abstract

Abstract: In order to efficiently make use of carbonate fluorite in Suichang of Zhejiang, the inhibitor and collector were studied with to carry out the beneficiation tests for the ore. The results showed that the flotation separation of fluorite and calcite was successfully achieved by adopting the combining inhibitors of new self-developed collector KY-110 and sodium silicate + humic acid inhibitors. Through the closed-circuit process of one roughing-one scavenging-seven cleaning, fluorite concentrate with CaF₂ grade of 97.11%, CaO content of 0.96%, CaF₂ recovery of 69.90% was obtained.
