The Application of 3D Geological Environment Modeling in Xinqiao Pyrite Mine

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the mature platform of ARCGIS9，the regional geological environment data in Xinqiao Pyrite Mine has been analyzed and classified，and the slope geological environment database for Xinqiao Mine has been established.With the use of virtual boreholes，TIN-based multi-DEM modeling method is adopted to build 3D strata model and realize 3D visualization of the formation.It not only provides new ways for observing and analyzing geological phenomenon，but also establishes reliable resource and platform for following research of the slope stability.
