Abstract: Based on more than ten mines of Hebei Iron & Steel Group, the GIS component development model was chosen. Based on the spatial data, property data, management information of tailings, waste dump, concentrating mill, the management system of mine enterprise solid waste was designed. Visual management of solid waste's combination with chart was achieved. It also creates a new model by qualitatively or quantitatively analyzing solid waste data of multiple regions. And it provides a new information service for the management of tailing resource's exploitation and the evaluation decision of application prospects.
