Abstract: The paper introduces the merits of 3D laser scanning technology such as fast，convenient，accurate，dynamic，all-digital，high-precision，etc.. Through the application of 3D laser scanning technology in Shandong Jinling Iron Mine，3D tunnel model is built in this mine. Combining with the underground personnel positioning system，the personnel distribution at underground can be intuitively grasped，which is beneficial to the online monitoring and the disaster emergency evacuation and rescue.
