Application Study of a New Type Jig Bed Made of Iron Base Composite Material

Abstract: In view of the shortcomings of low density,unequal particle,irregular sharp,and easy-to-wear of the traditional natural sulfide ore jig bed in dressing plant of China Tin Group Co.,Ltd.,a new type of jig bed made of iron base composite material was developed,and the related industrial application tests were conducted based on the laboratory tests. The industrial application tests indicated that compared with the natural sulfide ore jig bed,the new type of jig beds increased the wastes removal rate by 19.04%,increased the grades of tin,lead and zinc by 0.34%,0.09% and 0.96% respectively,decreased the loss rate of tin,lead and zinc by 5.74%,7.13% and 6.05% and increased the tin concentration ratio by 0.83%. All these fully prove the advantages of the new jig bed in performance.
