Abstract: The stability of underground mine roadway under complex geological conditions is a difficult problem of surrounding rock controlling.According to the inclined mining roadway phosphate ore-body near fault of Tiaoshuihe Phosphorus Mine in Yichang, the numerical simulation method is used to set up 5 groups of different working conditions so conduct comparison and analysis of the mining roadway stability. The study results show that:when the mining roadway near the fault, due to the exposed are of the mined-out area is large, which will enlarge the influence of fault fracture zone to roadway stability,so the roadway should be avoided arranging along the tendency direction,if not,the safety distance of fault safety pillars should be increased, besides that, the the change characteristics of surrounding rock of the mined-out area near the faults of should be noticed;when the mining roadway is arranged along the heading direction, the safety pillars with the safety distance of 15 m can guarantee the stability of roadway under the conditions of single strip mining, the safety distance of safety pillar can be increased above 20 m at least to suit for the mining area that the multiple strips mining method is obtained.
